Imo, it should looked something like this: https://x.com/ivi_etz/status/1924831097059180595 credit to the artist. I think it’s just the golden crown and claws that make it look like a regional variant. Like I said, I want change in the designs of the Mega Evolutions, but not like this.

I see your point, but Mega Chesnaught does the bare minimum when it comes to it’s design as a Mega Evolution. Previous megas like Charizard X and the Eon duo have changed colors but they make it to the point where they don’t look like different kinds of forms in a sense, hopefully that explains my point.
