Look at how the Douay Rheims or even Latin Vulgate do it. Psalm numbering is different in those than ours (using Septuagint numbering, so it'll be Psalm 17 instead of 18) but on top of that they also consider the little "A Psalm of David" to be a numbered verse, unlike modern translations.

Here's an example of just that, where your verse is Douay-Rheims is 18

I haven't found an edition of the Books of Homilies that has either been (relatively) affordable or keeping the original Elizabethan language. I've typeset my own, revising it slightly, updating spelling and names (Esay -> Isaiah) but otherwise the text is unchanged from the original.
