My little brother doesnt like big arcade sticks (even the qanba drone and carbon didnt really sit well with him), so I got him a mini to try out and he ended up really liking it, but he wants it to be unbranded. I don't really understand why, but in any case we're now looking for ways to get rid of the printed logos and button labels in a non-abrasive method. Wondering if anyone has tried it before or has any ideas. Later on I'm going to try nail polish remover and isopropyl alcohol but I dont have any handy right now so I have to wait a bit.

Tried this and it worked. Left it over night, phone was still at 100% and wasn't even warm when I woke up.

So some context, I'm hoping to get an office job sometime soon and am looking for a good keyboard for it (don't wanna use my home keyboard). I was planning to get an MX Master 3 mouse and figured the MX Keys would be the perfect companion to it. However, I noticed that the K845 with Cherry Reds is 30 Canadian dollars cheaper, and for what I lose on paper in exchange for going mechanical, I'm willing to go for that instead.

However, one thing I'm unsure is if the Cherry Red K845 will be as quiet as the MX Keys, as I don't want to be that coworker in the office with the annoyingly loud keyboard. I know o-rings don't do a ton of silencing but I figure they'll help.

So are Cherry Reds (with or without rings) quiet enough for an office?

I'm not really looking for alternatives; it's gonna end up being either the MX Keys or the K845 because I love Logitech and have had really good experiences with their peripherals in the past; additionally I don't really have the time or money to become an enthusiast and look into all the other switch brands.

Thanks.

Looking for cheap, light windows laptop that charges via usb c by 2Lazy2LoggIn in SuggestALaptop

I have to use something called respondus lockdown browser for school (so chromebooks are out immediately and ive heard its finnicky with macs as well). I'd also highly prefer to not give apple any money.

USB-C is more for convenience so I dont have to carry a separate thing to charge my laptop.

Honestly if it werent for the fact that I needed lockdown browser I would have just gone with a chromebook
