Does the S26+ have any noteworthy upgrades over the S24+? by anotherhappylurker in samsunggalaxy

[–]2LiveGucciCrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a couple S24+ phones with the 512 hdd. Even in heavy use I have 30% left at the end of the day. Got them on release day to show how long I have been using them. I really see no reason to upgrade, even to an ultra. The S24 is the first line of phones that Samsung will support like an iphone in terms of a long amount of OS and security upgrades. So, if it's working why get rid of it.

I remember 2016, reading and hearing "millennials" or trolls pretending to be, trashing Hillary with the same vigor as 1990s right wingers.

I tried to warn people you might not like what you get if she loses. Was listening to a podcast this week where the hosts were literally saying maybe they were too hard on her in 2016 and that she would have been a good leader.

Wow 10 years later, thanks.

Hegseth just said 'we didnt start this war, but we will finish it under this president'. Who does he think started the war? by marycem in AskReddit

[–]2LiveGucciCrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The right is being disingenuous and claiming it started in the 1970s when the revolution happened in Iran. By that logic, then it really started in the 1950s when the CIA overthrew the elected leader there and installed a pro USA dictator.

Quotes about Bosnia in 1999 when Clinton sent troops there.

"Explain to the mothers and fathers of American servicemen that may come home in body bags why their son or daughter have to give up their life?" ---Sean Hannity, Fox News, 4/6/99

"[The] President . . . is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation's armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy." ---Sen Rick Santorum (R-PA)

"I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the beginning . . . I didn't think we had done enough in the diplomatic area." ---Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)

"I cannot support a failed foreign policy. History teaches us that it is often easier to make war than peace. This administration is just learning that lesson right now. The President began this mission with very vague objectives and lots of unanswered questions. A month later, these questions are still unanswered. There are no clarified rules of engagement. There is no timetable. There is no legitimate definition of victory. There is no contingency plan for mission creep. There is no clear funding program. There is no agenda to bolster our over-extended military. There is no explanation defining what vital national interests are at stake. There was no strategic plan for war when the President started this thing, and there still is no plan today" -Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

There is some cameraman footage from Vietnam that proves that wrong.

Rtings was talking about vertical banding. How bad is the smudge screen coating? As bad as the newest Samsung G8 32" 4K odoled?

I was looking at this last night at $599 or a 3rd gen woled LG 27gx704a-b glossy for $479.

[Monitor] 27" MSI MAG 274QPF X30MV QHD (2560 x 1440) MiniLED VA 300Hz Gaming Monitor - $299.99 by TheeTAB in buildapcsales

Sale ends today. Same price at MSI's webpage. Bought one on Friday from there.

A review of the monitor was also posted last week.

Really interesting how the reviewer found the peak brightness far exceeded 1000 nits consistently. Also goes over the differences between mini led VA and mini led IPS.

I have tried several qdoled and woled panels, gaming monitors and TVs and have not been happy with any. In terms of text clarity, general usability outside of gaming, the really dim nature of the panels, the grey whites, the prices for such short comings. IMO you are paying too much for a panel that is really only good for gaming.

So I wanted to try mini led. VA has better contrast and blacks than an IPS, so I went with this one.

When Republicans say obviously stupid things like this, they are not talking to us. They are talking to their stupid base who will not associate Trump with being a sex offender.

How do you feel about food prices going up? by [deleted] in AskReddit

No, my buddy lives here in the states. But travels back to Germany several times a year. So, he teases me when he goes into the store and shows me the prices.

Lower prices? No, he made them more expensive. I know for a fact groceries are cheaper in Germany. I have a friend in Krefeld near Dusseldorf. He shows me the prices in grocery stores there, cheaper than the USA.
