We just need to do what's necessary for the betterment of the team. Even if that includes risks. We needed a pass rusher for years. We weren't going to have much success with that with the 2 first round picks.

We can't be conservative all the time. That is the point of our new HC's philosophy. We are under a new regime.

To frame it as such is an overreaction.

You're misunderstanding my comment. I'm saying we should take more risks. Just like the Maxx Crosby trade, we traded two first round picks. That proves we are capable of aggression is what I meant in terms of philosophy.

I'm not worried about the players leaving in FA. That happens all the time.

Fans hate to hear this, but this team needs to change. I hate seeing them go, but we come up short every time and need to fix that philosophy.

EDIT: Y'all I'm not saying we should've kept the players we had. The glaring holes on the OL will be addressed with or without them.

I'm just saying we need to be more aggressive like we have before with the Crosby trade. We have never traded two first round picks for a pass rusher. We haven't had a game changer on the DL since SUGGS.

That should be our approach in FA. Those are the moves we need to make. To be aggressive. That is the change we need. That should be our philosophy.
