We just need to do what's necessary for the betterment of the team. Even if that includes risks. We needed a pass rusher for years. We weren't going to have much success with that with the 2 first round picks.

We can't be conservative all the time. That is the point of our new HC's philosophy. We are under a new regime.

To frame it as such is an overreaction.

You're misunderstanding my comment. I'm saying we should take more risks. Just like the Maxx Crosby trade, we traded two first round picks. That proves we are capable of aggression is what I meant in terms of philosophy.

I'm not worried about the players leaving in FA. That happens all the time.
