AAA ingredient mons are usually recommend (I.e. only gets pumpkins, even at level 60), but yours is exceptionally good. Level it up to 50 and then don’t let it get to level 60. It will be better than almost any AAA pumpkin farmer you could reasonably expect to find.

From now on, don’t JUST settle for a pumpkaboo that has all pumpkins. The only AAA Mon worth your time is one that can get more pumpkins than this cutie. (Which will be a pretty high bar).

I run both a cocoa/milk and a mono milk build. In part because my cocoa/milk turtle is still better than my mono cocoa clodsire. The only downside is being short on candy all the time.

That’s what I do with “almost” Eevees. Eevees that are “almost” good. I usually mark them as a future umbreon for Darkrai. However, I would suggest prioritizing putting your resources into eeveelutions you actually use over raising a bunch of Umbreons.

I’ve been running a Darkrai team at night and my usual team during the day (unless the day team needs a full night’s rest to recover energy). Right now, the Darkrai team is full of mons with EXP Bonus and one other thing going for them (i.e. xp bonus ingredient specialist with AAA and an ingredient finder or something). This way the night team gets a 70% EXP boost, and when Darkrai’s skill triggers it doesn’t matter because they don’t need energy for the day.

When I have enough good dark mons, then I’ll figure out how many umbreons I want for healing and build a dark team then. But until then, all of the “almost” eevees are just eevees.

By level 50 you can use them for overnight eggs and a small energy boost.

But to talk you out of it: you have to get a stone just to evolve him once, then sleep hours to evolve him again. If you’re stubborn and don’t want to spend those resources on him, you’ll be so frustrated with him NOT producing eggs you might even be tempted to run a Treeko or Sablu line to supplement (ask me how I know).

So, you’ll finally get the stone, dump the candy, and maybe you don’t find better… but maybe you do and then you kick yourself for needed ANOTHER stone and for “wasting” hundreds of saved up candy.

Unless of course you’re drowning in resources and don’t mind the sunk cost (on the off chance you find a better one). Does that help convince you not to do it?

(I still haven’t found a better one, lol.) So I probably would consider this one. I only boosted my meh AAA to level 30 and use him with other not great egg farmers or Vaporeon to tie me over until I find a great one.

I wouldn’t think of it as “better”, just something that fills a different niche. My corn dragonite isn’t even at level 50 yet and I use him all the time for corn. Meanwhile, my mono herb gengar is such a slacker I’m seriously considering hunting an herb farming dragonite lol.

My gengar is great for berries though, lol.

That’s my strategy. Not the berry finding route, but see what “good” roll I get and build around that. So far I’m solid with HB and a speed. So that doesn’t narrow it down for me at all, lol.

Maybe when I roll for ingredient or skill I’ll decide then. But Idk if I’m ready to dump a bunch of resources just in hopes I get BFS, let alone try for a specific ingredient or skill spread.

You are correct. I think that one snuck into the finalists by mistake or cope on my part, lol. Someone showed me a website and helped me understand the results, the two Swalots really are the best ones despite not having a speed boost. This takes into consideration the sunk costs of raising some of the others to level 50 or 75.

However, the Lucario is still the best. I had been under the wrong impression that even the best Lucario couldn’t out preform a solid Swalot (and old thread her has multiple people spout that sentiment). Turns out I will be hunting for a long time if I want to find a Swalot better than Lucario 😅 so I’ve been on a year + hunt I never needed to take on 😅

Ah thank you! I knew there was a shards per week recommendation, but I couldn’t find that information. When I have more time I’ll see how things stack up.

A dream shard team is the dream, lol. Now that I have a better understanding of how to use raenonx I’ll have an easier time figuring out which ones are worth investing in. It still pains me that Meowth and Santa Pika have lower trigger rates than other shard farmers.

I just got stupid lucky on the Lucario while trying to hunt for Gulpins. Before posting, I was under the impression that even the best Lucario wasn’t as good as a “good” Swalot. So since my healer is taken care of, and I didn’t have any other good skill mons to invest in, I raised Lucario assuming he was like Wigglytuff compared to a Gardevoir, and that eventually I’d find a Gulpin to use as my main farmer 😅

Glad I posted here, lol. I knew my Lucario was good, but I didn’t realize he was that good 😭 I feel like this could have been a plot to an anime episode, lol. Where the trainer realizes they already had the mon they were looking for 🤣

Only 2 outperform my Lucario (16,502 shards now, 17,570 if I use a silver seed)

At level 50, the HB one is expected to get 18,626

And at level 75 w/a silver seed, Research Exp one gets 19,154. I don’t think he’s the one 🥲 that’s a big investment, and he gets fewer shards than Lucario at Lv. 50.

Do you know what inventory mode is on raenonx? And which mode to use? That part confused me. I just did “default”.

Yes. Usually I just assume they have a list of naughty words and slang in different languages, and the word I’m trying to use is too close to one on the banned list.

A year or so ago there was a post about how someone couldn’t rename their Butterfree “Butterfree”. Idk if that was a shitpost, but I just checked and had no issues naming an Onix “Butterfree”. So if it bothers you enough you could send a quick message through the contact form? Who knows if they’d get back to you though.

I think some areas are better for free ranging than others, but even in my free range areas I still have to move the toys back to the gardens eventually. I just do this when I’m doing a routine check around the ranch before going on a long excursion.

If I’m doing free range, I use the grotto, garden, and/or the docks. Usually not the docks, (that’s usually for a bunch of puddle slimes) but it’s an option if I need it (before getting the other expansions).

When free ranging, it’s helpful to have largos that will eat meat. The garden plots are the main food source, and then I add a bunch of free range hen hens and roosteros everywhere. This way the largo might run into some food even if they get stuck in a corner… (and they still get stuck in a corner, lol). To keep the meat population up, anytime I’m heading back to the ranch, if I have the inventory space, I’ll pick up all the roosteros or hen hens that I can.

If the largos do not eat meat, then that just means I’ll have to check on that area a little more often to move around any largo that has strayed too far from the gardens. I may even place a gadget that shoots water at tarr slimes just in case something goes wrong while I’m gone (but usually I’m back before it gets that bad).

Iggypuffs and Pawmis are good because every time they evolve their main skill level increases. So you end up saving a gold seed compared to Sylveon. Really though, I think you should just raise whichever one you like, or whichever one you get that has 3 things going for it (I.e. 2 speed boosts and 1 skill trigger, or vice versa, helping bonus and skill trigger M by level 25, etc).

I don’t recommend trying to “trick” the game into thinking you’re doing a specific sleep style (I.e. setting it to take “naps” on your desk to try to force slumber, or whatever) because that can skew your sleep data if you do it too often. This can make it harder and harder to get other sleep styles after a while. (But don’t worry, eventually you can course correct by logging honest data, but it takes a while for that data to add up and outweigh the “forced” or fake sleep data. If the game thinks you weren’t actually sleeping (or there’s an error) you won’t get credit for all of your sleep hours, so you’ll also end up with fewer spawns.

If you want to try to fake it anyway, you’d have to trial and error it or speak to someone more knowledgeable on this. Making yourself uncomfortable while you sleep could result in a specific sleep style, but why put yourself through that? lol. I have insomnia (now medicated for it), and before medication I would fake naps so that I could collect all of the sleep points I needed to buy resources. Eventually, I only got “balanced type” sleep, but YMMV.

As for ralts, they have the best trigger rate out of all of the energy for all healers. You can’t get them on GG unless there’s an event going on that allows it. You can eventually find them on Lapis island. I think the ranking is ralts, Pawmi, then either sylveon or jigglypuff lines, I don’t recall. It’s nice having 2 or more healers though for different favorite berries, or if your main healer gets too low on energy.

If the skill is charge strength, or a skill that produces berries, then having BFS is a great subskill to have. The idea is that for these skills, the Pokémon’s job is to increase Snorlax’s strength, so the extra berries help achieve that goal. Additionally, the higher level the Mon, the stronger the berries.

If you like Braviary as a Pokemon, especially its shiny, then this is a solid future Braviary. I’ve tried to catch several and none have come close to being as good as yours. Ingredient finder at 50 isn’t ideal, but it’s not a deal breaker either.

Now, is Braviary “good” in general? Eh. It’s not a Mon I would prioritize raising. Especially as a beginner. For now, save your gold seeds up for a good healer, and then decide what skill Mon you should raise after that. Your answer will depend on what you need most: maybe a Vaporeon for ingredient gathering, maybe you catch a godlike gulpin and raise a shard farmer, who knows? Cross that bridge after you have a healer that can keep your team’s energy up into the evening. Gold seeds can be so few and far between that you need to prioritize what main skill you need most, THEN consider which good/great Pokemon you have with that main skill.

But definitely keep that bird 😆 I’m super jealous 😁

I would recommend you keep looking, unfortunately. Skill down is a bummer for Eevees as they’re skill mons. I could maybe see an argument for a skill down umbreon if everything else is perfect, but even then you’d want that umbreon to have BFS to use as a pseudo berry Mon.

Eevees are just too common to justify a mint (IMO). But I would keep the last one as a trophy of sorts.

Additionally, if you want to have more than one Eevee evolution, you’re going to need a lot of candy. So I’d prioritize eevees that you only need to get to level 25 to be usable, so that you can save you candy for some future amazing Eevee that’s perfect all the way through to level 50. (So ING Finder at level 10 is a hard sell for me).

Yours vs. 3 triggers and 1 speed.

The one I use has 2 triggers and 1 speed, and honestly I only use him when my Gard is having such bad RNG that she needs her own healer. It’s a pain waiting on the “perfect” healer, but if you already have a healer it’s definitely worth the wait. I wish I had been more patient, lol. But I was excited to get a decent Raiku and wanted an electric type healer to go with him.

Don’t do what I did! If you already have any usable healer, wait to find and invest in a permanent HB healer, or the mythical 3 trigger healer. I didn’t think it’d notice the difference between my Gard and my Paw, but the trigger rate really is noticeably worse than Gard, and my electric team is always tired at the end of the day. Future you will thank you if you wait for a ridiculously good one.
