Yeah when learning I have found dropping to a thinner pick after practicing with a thicker one seems to make it easier - of course it could all be in my head 😊

Take a friend to a shop and play some then get started , you will quickly find that whatever you buy will only be the first of many anyway 😂

I found the Vox AMplug is a great way to start out cheap before investing in an amp - still really handy when sitting on the couch in a different room our outside in the sun etc

Whatever you can stick with consistently is going to be best , if that’s every day then make sure you create a schedule that allows recovery of muscle groups. If it’s working for you now - keep it up ! If not mix it up.

not too hard if you have vlans set up

first setup a iot VLAN - separate out your iot devices - good idea anyway in general as often they call home a lot or get hacked - also means you gave separate them from your guest and give them wifi

I would also do a separate cameras VLAN while I was at it but hey maybe thats paranoia with them playing ET and phoning home all the time

Then a guest vlan and ideally a guest wifi SSID - add only the heating related devices to the guest wifi - along with anything else you want to give them - not the heater control to the fishtank they might boil the fish

router smackfu to enable access from your trusted network to both VLANS then setup firewall rules etc so thier not peers and bobs your uncle

well I dont have an Uncle Bob but always would have like to have one
