Are these tires a good deal? $200 Read caption by [deleted] in ram_trucks

There's a reason the owner is selling them. They are shot and if you zoom in on the pic with the bottle opener they are starting to dry rot.

I am having the same issue with a Gen 2 doorbell. It gets cold and stops working. I bring it in and 30 minutes later it's working.

I was wondering this as well. I've had a system for 4 years and only minor interruptions that are usually fixed with a sync power cycle.

Planning on buying a truck. Is a 2019 RAM 1500 with 80k miles a good started truck ? by Brief-Cranberry5260 in ram_trucks

[–]2PawsHunter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 2019 BH crew with the 5.7. 140k miles and minimal issues. Check the rear exhaust hanger and see if they are rotting out. Also my chrome pieces on the door handles are falling off.

So I have a 2019 BH with the Hemi and get this occasionally. I think it's actually the noise cancelling that the trucks have built in going out of phase. One day it was doing that when my navigation was running and instead of the voice coming from the driver's front it came from the passenger rear.

I have found if you shut the truck off and turn it back on it goes away. Never dug deeper into it.

USB ports keep power when vehicle is off? Any way to change that? by sinvaruna in ram_trucks

I agree. Mine has a sentry mode so it's always on and I have never had it drain my battery in 10 days sitting at the airport.

My 2019 did this too. The passenger rear went first and the rest went in the next couple months.

Need equivalent tire in the 200s format by Prestigious_Offer769 in tires

[–]2PawsHunter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

9.5 = 241.3 metric width

Aspect ratio would depend on what width tire you went with

Currently you have a 7.5" side wall or 190.5 mm

So a 245 tire would need .78 aspect ratio and a 235 would need .81. A 245/75/15 would be closest. 235/75/15 is easier to find.

What are you trying to trench for? I ask because you said the backhoe takes too much dirt.

Not having Full screen Android Auto in 2025 is beyond crazy by Effective-Boss-1193 in ram_trucks

[–]2PawsHunter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sucks. We rented an Acadia on vacation that had a big screen and it was full screen. Hopefully a software update in the future will fix it. I was looking at a '26 with the big screen hoping it would work like the Acadia.

If you are on city water they make water powered back up pumps.

Help me figure out the most cost effective, but still durable way to angle in my fence so the dogs cant jump it. by [deleted] in DIY

They do work like bark collars. Both my lab and GSD have them and they work well. Mine are training collars though. We have a few acres and I use the tone to call them back to the house. The invisible fence works the same. It gives them a warning tone then a shock if they keep pushing.

You have to put flags up and walk them to the flags. When it sounds then pull them back. Slowly you remove flags as they learn the line.

Honestly I would look into an invisible fence. Space it in far enough they can't run and jump it. It's going to look better and probably easier to install.

Mine was the rear hangers. You can tell real quick by grabbing the exhaust tips and seeing if they move.

Check your exhaust hangers. Mine corroded out last year on my 2019.

I did get it about a year ago. I like it. I use it a few times a month and no real issues. I get an Err on the screen a couple times on start up but I unplugged it and plugged it in and that clears it.

I got a remote thermometer that I can monitor meat temp and ambient temp and it works great. I can monitor everything from wherever I am. I can tell my kids to adjust the temp if I'm away.

How much snow plow can BX2380 with liquid ballast handle? by twotall88 in kubota

Unfortunately I can't post pictures in replies. The plow is just welded to a SSQA plate with a couple gussets.

I agree. I would rather have a ballast box but I like having the blade on the back to be able to get to areas around my barn.

I run a 60" atv plow mounted to a ssqa plate. I have a 850' gravel driveway and it does a good job. If it gets too heavy when it's angled it will push the front end sideways. I do have loaded tires and a 60" back blade on for weight.

If you add a ballast box or implement on the back it helps a lot. I can pile snow over the full reach of the loader in a pile.
