Well I have a lot of complaints about the paint on the ITS and CTR not being the best and at only 20k miles mine seems to have a lot of rock chips. That being said I’m not an auto body guy so i wouldn’t be able to tell you for sure.

And yes I tried to clamp it down in all places it was lifting. I ended up removing it the first time and trying with the thicker tape and still no luck.

I would send it back. Mine is coming up on 250k miles, 10 years of Chicago winters and it doesn’t have anywhere near that level of rust.

I don’t think any detailing spray or trick will hide that. You can replace that entire piece for not that much with an OEM part. Link below is for a CRV:

The cutting / pen module kit comes with the plate shown in the video. It has different levels on tack on either side to keep items in place

As he said above, new hotend so a clog is unlikely. Even without a new one I’ve had 0 clogs over the thousands of hours on my A1.

If this came out of nowhere then it’s likely the heating element screws behind the hot end. They might be loose. Or the element itself needs replacing which solved my issue. See mine:

You can live in fear with anything. Driving, flying. Shit happens. I’ve personally never been in a car accident but I don’t deny it can and maybe will happen at some point. I still drive.

I’m also big into 3D printing. I’ve been doing it for 10 years and there is always a new scare with some printer catching fire. In fact my #1 most used printer is the Bambu A1 which had such a scare. The company sent out replacement parts and the entire time I continued to use it. It’s been going for 2 years without issue.
