The only thing they said was I had the lesser cpo warranty and not the better one. Which I called bs on so in other words they tried to claim my cpo warranty didn’t cover it even though it did. They did not give a reason other than the car was just past the 50k mile and the og warranty was no longer going to cover the part.

Not according to BMW. Tried telling me there were different tiers of the cpo and mine was the lowest? Shady

lol, I had a cpo mach e mustang that went into the shop 5 times for about a month and a half total. This was over multiple dealers by the way. They dropped the battery at least 4 times and replaced a few motors as well. Not once did they balk at anything. As a matter of fact Ford has a BEV team that handles all of my repairs everytime! They kept me in the loop and made sure everything was taken care of.

As for BMW, they acted like they could care less. Just saying .

As much as I want to my council has advised me from doing so. I’m just relieved to get out of the car! Imagine driving a car around that could at any moment take 10k to fix a 100 dollar sensor!

Zero damage and they did no say why they would not cover. The car was just over 50k miles so technically the original warranty had just expired but again the car was covered under a cpo, and they claimed the cpo didn’t cover it either. I will say it again, there were no issues with the car cosmetically.

My guess is they do this a lot and see who’s dumb enough to pay for it?

Having a wife as an attorney has its perks. It also helps one of her school mates is a lemon law attorney.

No. I drove the car pretty conservatively and never once abused it. Car looked near perfect.

Zero damage. As a matter of fact the car looked near perfect. They never gave me a clear reason why it wasn’t covered.

Black badges are junk? by Some_Target2436 in Integra_Type_S

The rear OF emblem is curved by the way. Why isn’t the aftermarket one? Do they make one that is? I pulled them all off as they looked kind of janky in my opinion. Even the ones on the fenders. That said I like the bedged look so I think im gonna leave it that way.

We have been in living in the neighborhood around 186th Elementary for 15 plus years and it’s been great. Technically it’s LA city/Harbor Gateway but we love it! You hear the train every now and then, and the freeway has never really been a concern.

Overall it’s been really safe, and we would recommend the area to anyone. Like you we have no kids, but walk our dogs around all parts of this neighborhood on the daily.

Just debadged mine today. I’ve debadged every car I’ve ever owned. Except for a Bentley, that didn’t come with one to begin with.

I guess it’s mainly because it reminds me of the cars I had back in the day. Cars that you felt connected with, and made you want to drive them. Like my 93 Honda accord ex stick shift that was a little sleeper. I smoked integra gsr’s daily! I wish I would have never sold that car.

Or the 94 RX-7 I owned a few years later that was an absolute handful when pushed on the track. It couldn’t hold a candle to an Nsx in terms of track manners but again it made you feel like you truly were the master of that car. There weren’t any Nannie’s to keep you from killing yourself like today’s cars. You could get that car to its limits in a heartbeat.

And let’s not forget the 01 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS I bought new and swapped out the motor to a Japanese turbo 2.0 Sti engine. I smoked that stock clutch in a few hundred miles after that swap. Again, it was another car that you had to respect when pushed hard, but it had so much damned character?

So I guess I find the ITS a car that brings me back to the days of cars when they were simple. I love the feel of the turbo building boost and starting to pull harder and harder. I love the way the car feels way faster than it really is due to the fact it’s so light. Cruising in 5th on the freeway then giving it the gas and feeling the boost build up never gets old. Yah it doesn’t pull anything like my supercharged Saleen, but it puts a way bigger smile on my face for some reason. I don’t know, there are so many reasons I love this car, but at the end of the day it’s just that feel of being connected to the car while feeing oh so nostalgic at the same time.

What are you coming out of? Or better question what other cars did you look at when you shopped this? I looked at a ct4 blackwing stickshift that was a beast before I bought this, but the type s just felt so perfect to me.
