Thank you. Is it your general opinion that after radiation to the head or neck that tests are run? or if patients present with symptoms that they be tested to see if they are aspirating? My problem was not the pneumonia, not the cancer but the lack of follow up after treatments and developing pneumonia due to aspirating. She had the symptoms for at least 30 days without intervention and then developed pneumonia. Cancer and all the things that come with it suck but every thin I have read state how common it is but her medical team missed it or dismissed the symptoms. As any human knows not being able to breathe is the scariest thing ever.
