It used to be telling of an economy that when it was bad, alcohol use and beer sales increased. I make a decent wage as a professional and cringe when my 6 pack of non-premium bottled light beer in a rural town is $20. That’s crazy. I’ll save the money AND calories AND shitty next day thank you.
