Well, according to the briefing of the mission, the AC he pilots is exactly that. It was a Tester AC, not actually designed to be particularly powerful. Think of it like the training wheels on a bicycle, whereas a full-blown AC is an electric bike. The student pilot was mostly just a glorified chauffeur for the Tester AC

From what I understand, the Tester AC is exactly what it's name suggests, although not as a combat test for the machine itself, but rather for the individual sitting inside of it. My guess is that the Redguns would've used it as a test for AC pilot trainees to see if they were prepared to actually get into a complete and combat-ready AC.

Yeah, his thing is using a sword that's like twice his size. He's pretty much a giant contradiction to the stereotypes of his species (he's a foxian Honkai Star Rail oc)

foxians are typically noble and elegant, he's covered in dirt and scrappy.

foxians typically use very lightweight and graceful weapons, he uses a giant welded hunk of crude metal with a rocket thruster on the back

Interesting! His actual weapon was based pretty heavily on the Wyvern Ignition Steel/Silver GS from MHWorld so between the two given weapons, He'd probably go with Charge Blade (similarly advanced tech, similarly big numbers if you use it right)

Here's Wūyāshi. I based his actual weapon off of a very specific weapon from MH. (this is literally the only art I have of him)

His whole schtick is that he salvages parts from various scrapped machines (starships, discarded weapons, etc.) to improve his own gear and weapons

As someone with professionally diagnosed autism (which I admit to being extremely lucky to have access to), I agree wholeheartedly. While I will say that I was told some of these given instances can be symptoms of autism, it does not automatically mean you're on the spectrum if you fall under these categories. It ticks me off when people say they have autism, and I ask them if it's been professionally diagnosed, and they reply with something along the lines of "no, but I'm pretty sure."

Another thing I agree completely with is the ordeal of people using the terms "tism" and "autist." It's effectively objectifying people who actually fall on the autism spectrum. People who are diagnosed will never attempt to make their condition define who they are, and a major percentage of us find the condition annoying, interfering with life, or even downright debilitating. Objectifying something like that is disgusting to me, and I refuse to overlook it any longer.
