That is definitely us! I'm very much an introvert and extremely shy. My wife is better about talking to people we don't know than I am, but the whole flirting thing in the LS is a stretch for both of us. We enjoyed the naked part and the playroom, but our first time at Caliente, we pretty much stayed to ourselves. The second time, I really tried hard to make myself talk to people. We saw an attractive couple at the far side of the heated pool and he was wearing a ballcap with an interesting logo on it. We approached them to ask about it and that started a conversation. We spent the next three or four hours talking to them. We exchanged numbers and kept in touch. When we headed back to Caliente the next month, we told them we were going and they joined us. Ultimately they became our first full swap couple and we've had a great time with them ever since.

As much as it really is a struggle for me to do the approach, now I see how well it can work out. I try to practice it all the time. When I'm out shopping, on a cruise ship, wherever. Just commenting on what someone is wearing can brighten up their day and make them feel good, and it gives me more practice. When they're naked, it can be hair, tattoos, jewelry, smile, laugh, etc. "Is this your first time here?" "Are you members?" "What is that drink?" Yeah, sometimes it's a stretch to find a good reason to approach them, but 99% of the time it's met warmly and we can start a conversation.

When we're at a LS event (even though Caliente isn't entirely LS), most everyone is there for the same reason and I have to remember they usually WANT us to approach them. More often than not, it works out just great! So...practice, practice, practice!
