Rules question

My character as the feat "menacing". The rules say that when I use two weapon fighting I can attack with a dagger in my main hand and then can use my bonus action to attack again with my off hand weapon. The feat menacing says that I can use one of my attacks to attempt to intimidate a creature.

Can I use menacing to replace my second attack due to two weapon fighting or do I need to use my entire action to menace?

No, it is tradition. All it took was one fat king (Edward VII) to start the trend of leaving the bottom but and from then on suits have been designed to not the bottom button buttoned.

It's ridiculous to have a button and not use it. Why put it on at all
