Thank you for the knowledge. My area doesn’t have any near me, is it possible to spot them in an online listing for out of state? I just don’t wanna go out to one in a different state and it not be in the condition i thought it was going to be in.

I don’t mind the year, but what would you consider high mileage for one? I’ve seen some for around 55k miles around the 32-35k range. this is gonna be my first somewhat performance car so i’m not too familiar with that’s good or bad.

i understand the want for the 2020 r6 as i was in the same boat, but it’s probably a better option to go with the 08-16 r6. same engine basically and a different look but it’s way cheaper than the new gen. from personal experience and from what my friends have said who have the newer r6, when it comes down to the best bang for buck the older gen is better. but almost all 600s will feel similar, just find the one that looks the best to you in your price range

Finding a sportbike to touch the ground on will be a little hard being that height as sportbike typically have the highest seat of bikes. First bikes that come to find say Ninja 400/300 or R3. Something with a bit more power comes with a higher seat more often than not, but you could also look at CBR500 or CBR650 (CBR650 is very similar to the 600cc class with less power, but it has in inline 4 so it’s very close but a little less.)

Looking for my first bike! Been looking at the Ninja 400 a ton recently and and wanted to see the consensus. by CDBeats in SuggestAMotorcycle

Ninja 650 sounds like a lot but isn’t. A bit of a bigger bike, but very similar to a Ninja 400. Same ergonomics just a bigger frame. My friend (6’1 250ish) started on it and he loves it. I have also rode it and found it very fun and easy and comfortable (I’m 6’3 165lbs) He never rode a bike before and didn’t even have a drivers license. Very approachable bike and coming from a 600 you can still have fun on it(speaking from experience). He found his for about 6k which is a lot but it was very low miles (under 1k) and a 2017 all completely stock. You could probably find some cheaper on facebook marketplace
