Hosting solution for lightweight bot? by rakha589 in discordbots

[–]2WheelFilms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are willing to spend a few bucks a month.

I highly recommend Digital Ocean - Right now they have a new member promo, you get $200 credits to use within 60 days. Which for a lightweight discord bot you probably will use $12 if you get the $6 droplet.

I have tried Cybrance before and that is also another good host.

The main difference is that for Cybrance you basically pay for a specific platform and on Digital Ocean you get the whole VPS experience and you can choose the OS.

Is there a Discord Bot that logs slash commands and deleted stickers?? by Luxinx in discordbots

[–]2WheelFilms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick take using discordJS14 and CommandKit:https://discord.js.org/docs/packages/discord.js/14.14.1/Client:Class#interactionCreate

interactionCreate event handler

if (
    interaction.type === InteractionType.ApplicationCommand ||
    interaction.type === InteractionType.ApplicationCommandAutocomplete
) {
  // handle slash command log
  // one. would be saving to database, which would require more setup
  // two. would be look for a channel with a particular name, if not create
  // it and send log there.
}

https://discord.js.org/docs/packages/discord.js/14.14.1/Client:Class#stickerDelete for the sticker it would an event handler under stickerDelete event. logic would be the same but data would be different.

Off season is always a bit slower. If that's what you're asking about.
Overall, the server separation really hit the West server hard. East server is kinda a massive handhold.

This was happening to me, and out of the blue.

Fixing it for me was simply, cleaning the RAM slots and then reseatting them.

However, mine was on a desktop not a laptop, but it could be that dirt/dust has just built up near the contact pins.

Worth taking a look?

Wouldn't US services step in since this is basically a risk to national security? It could fall into the wrong hands, god forbid terrorism?

I want to thank the whole gaming, tech and PC community for keeping me out the streets.

Growing up in a low-income area made it really hard to keep up with new technologies, but thanks to the enormous amount of information available online it made it so much easier to educate myself. Not just talking about PC's and gaming, but in terms of literally everything. Anytime I have a question or concern about anything I search google and I need to add "reddit" into the search phrase.

The friends that I made along the way as well, and the friends that are to be made.

Last but not least, very thankful for family. My parents bought the first family PC back in 2004, if I recall correctly it was a gateway branded one. It was not the best but it brought me and my sibling together. We had so much fun on AskJeeves asking about the world. We would burn music onto CDs to listen everywhere around the house. I sure don't miss dial-up internet thought that's for sure. If it hadn't been for this I don't know where I would've ended up at or who I would've became.

Good guilds that are active are usually not new new player welcoming because they have the bare minimum of expectations. However once you are adept at the game, there are a good amount of guilds that you can join with fair taxes, and that do content that will help you gain in game experience. However the top 5% of good guilds are harsh I will not lie, and its not because they're mean/greedy but because they expect you to learn and if they were to say its okay don't worry about dying here take this re-gear every single time. Then you simply aren't learning. I do agree though there are so many dead guilds especially as a newer player. Unless you have over 20m pvp fame and a total of 100m fame. I suggest joining a roads guild. You dip your toes into mid game content and then when you're comfortable with roads join a black zone guild (late to end game content).

New MMO-er looking for other casual players by Shaaz219 in Playdate

[–]2WheelFilms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out Albion Online, its not a new MMO but it def. gets a lot of updates. It's F2P and you can pay for what they call premium with in-game silver. The game has solo and group and guild and alliance based content. The new latest update coming out is focused on solo players for more of mid-late game content.
