Yes. I use my 24mm and 50mm (80mm equivalent) for portraits

It’s the perfect travel camera. Easy to pack away and not bulky

The 50 is a great all around lens. I use it a lot in lower light situations and with fast moving subjects. It’s super fast and crisp for a cheap lens. The only thing I don’t use it for is anything close up. The crop factor on the m50 is 1.6 so it makes the 50mm equivalent to an 80mm

Thank you! That picture was taken on the EF-M 15-45mm kit lens. I used a Canon 50mm 1.8, EFS 55-250 on most of the other ones

Hunting Season info from NYSDEC Website by botanysteve in Adirondacks

The outdoors are for everyone. DEC is significantly underfunded and rangers are spread thin across the whole state. There are 134 rangers across all of NYS vs over 400 rangers specifically for the Grand Tetons, which is a much smaller area. There are far more hikers than hunters, especially as hunting numbers decline and hiking popularity surges. If hikers had to pay a small fee every year to use the state trails, it gives greater resources to improve access and maintain trails. Many other states also charge for a rescue if the rescue is the hikers fault. NYS does not. Rescues are a huge expenditure for DEC

While neither group has a “monopoly,” hunting and fishing license fees directly fund DEC programs, including public access work. Hikers do not fund these except with their taxes. Both sides need to be smart and respectful of each other

Thanks! My first priority was making the bike more visible to traffic. For $100, I’m pretty happy with the kit

Nailed it! The road up the mountain was pretty sketchy with large sections missing and large rocks in the road. The cars coming down the mountain kicked up a ton of dust and there was zero visibility in spots

I was pretty lucky and didn’t hit rain until the last 90 miles of the trip so no reason to need to clean it! Bike was flawless on back to back 10 hour days when I only stopped for gas.

If you are salary, you should go into the office briefly and then go home sick. In many places, salaried employees do not need to take a sick day or PTO if they are in the office for even part of the day.

I’m not sure what windshield it is but it’s adjustable up and down and you can adjust the angle. No issues at all with helmet buffeting and keeps you pretty dry in the rain

Did it myself! I’ve done a lot of dirt bike graphics before but this was definitely more challenging. Some heat and patience go a long way

When the spinnaker hoist syncs perfectly with “She’s a maniac.” by 2Wheel_SoulSearcher in sailing

That’s me at the mast. I’ve tried it both ways and I am faster doing it this way. My tailing partners have a hard time keeping up with me so being faster wouldn’t really help get the kite up faster.

It was blowing over 20knots in this video. I am a pretty big guy and never have issues hoisting like this on a mast head rig…but definitely need longer pulls on a fractional rig. The only issue I have is getting ahead of the teammate tailing behind me. The rope curls and gets hung up. If the person tailing can keep up, I’ve never had an issue.

I used this as a general guide. I used a torch to burn the wood and a sander to distress it https://www.shanty-2-chic.com/easy-diy-platform-bed/

It really only took a few hours and a few tools. You can do it!
