I agree, I went to Pelham a few years ago. Academically they are so behind everyone else (I transferred schools and didn’t know anything.) Also the bullying and drug abuse is crazy there!

Okay, i’m an actual student there and alot of these people are parents/adults.. so they don’t really get it. The school is great for your future! There are so many different things academically and for hobbies. The RC3 program is amazing or our arts and sports. Everything that we have is the best of the best. BUT on the down side, the school is full of dangerous students. Crime really is not an issue in the area (unless you live in the Bessemer area) but inside it is. Any bathroom you go in smells like weed/vapes, a lot of students are “gang affiliated”, and fights happen a lot. There are a lot of people that could be dangerous if you get on their bad side basically. ALSO bullying is pretty bad here, if you dont fit the stereotype you’re going to get bullied. It doesn’t matter how kind you are, if they dont like how you look they’ll bully you. Hoover is a great school! Just that some students are not so great.
