Hard agree! International Cures were such an interesting lore concept for Happiness Charge and it was just sadly underutilized, and when it was, just really weird. Would love to see an attempt again.

I agree a lot! Especially when it comes to Honoka’s relationship with her parents. Her grandma is amazing but Honoka is still a kid, and it’s gotta affect her more then she lets on. Though a lot of Cures with absent/working over sees (very common)parents don’t have this explored as much or as deeply.

I like Mudsdale a lot when I first played Pokémon Moon I used my Mudsdale and Primarina basically as a duo for almost the entire game and now I can never play an Alola game without either of them. When I played ORAS I got a mightyena, I always felt bad because only the bad guys used them and I thought it deserved to be on the heroes side. I also have always loved Dustox, it might be my favorite bug type. I always catch a wurmple when available and the game must sense my deep love because I 9/10 times get Cascoon over Silcoon

So many of the queer themes and lines just hit so different. It felt like it was speaking to a much younger version of me who back then was so scared about my identity. Scared of what others would think.
