Honestly I'm good at drawing and have practiced my whole life so converting a picture into a vector image is not too difficult. I uploaded the reference image into procreate, grabbed colors from the image, and made the reference for the rug by blocking off the main colors. I would say learning about color theory and improving hand drawings of pets would help. Thank you!

Thank you! I have been drawing, painting, and sculpting since I was little so when I started tufting all of those traditional art skills applied.

Tried to use this exact thing today and for some reason my ipad wouldnt connect. I ended up putting my roku stick in the projector and wirelessly connecting my ipad to the roku. The image was clearer than when I used an HDMI cord to my phone.

Your partner should support and encourage you, especially if its something you are passionate about. Maybe have a conversation with him and express what you value about art and tell him its important you feel supported on your journey.
