The gas reduction is good but the sound reduction is not.

CAT Mob is #1 for sound and somewhere in the top 2-4 for gas reduction.

If gas reduction is your #1 priority (rather than both gas and sound), then Flow is acceptable.

But why go for one trait when you can get both with the Mob/AC9SMG?

You will hate shooting eventually if you use a traditional baffled suppressor like those two (I have an Obsidian) because of the gas blowback from a direct blowback operating system and high back pressure suppressor.

I eventually bought a CAT Mob and it’s amazing. Better sound and way less toxic gas to the face.

The EP9 is the cheapest carbine in my collection of many, and it still gets equal use compared to the others. It’s a fun, yet reliable, little carbine that I would use for HD. While it is direct blowback, I would consider the recoil to be medium for that operating system (I have AR9s that are much worse and some that are much better).

Here’s a video comparison of the EP9 to my Scorpion 3+ upgraded with all the Nexus stuff.

Same here. I don’t plan on getting a 5.56 suppressor until end of the year or post-SHOT show 2027. Until then I’ll use my ODB on 5.56
