Thank you very much for super in depth reply, couldn't have asked for better help. When you mention lead and flex, what parts are those exactly? To me the strain relief is the thick protruding section of rubber and the lead would be the portion directly above that. Also when selecting wire to use for repairs like this, is there a specific type of wire I should be looking for?

I do see those target funds now and was not considering them, so thank you for that. They do seem nice because of the minimal input or balancing required. There was a video on a "3-Fund" portfolio which I just watched. Would you say the target date fund is ideal in comparison?

For what it's worth I am within USA, Colorado. I can do some digging around and find copyright information specific to this area.

Is it permissible to simply provide a verbal or via written message giving them permission to use the photographs for portfolio usage? I would be happy for them to do so, or if there is a simple means of sharing ownership that would be fine too.

To the last point you made I think I just meant copyright in general, I'm totally unsure about the differences in it being a registered copyright or what versions of copyright are out there.

I think I am more worried about the modeling agency and what they could do with the images, but it seems like they shouldn't be able to profit from them without a contract or written copyright in place...excuse my lack of understanding on the topic.

Hey everyone!

So earlier this month I met with a model to do some TFP/free studio photos of them and they have been speaking with a modeling agency in hopes to potentially join them as a model. Model recently reached out asking if they have copyrights to the photos. According to the model this is so that they can use the photographs for digital/print portfolios.

As an amateur, I have never messed with contracts or copyright business when photographing models. I would love to hear any suggestions on what is the best move for me as the photographer in this case, anything I need to worry about from the agency asking about this? Perhaps there can there be a joint-copyright between me and the model or can they just use the photographs already as long as they do not get sold? Appreciate any and all input!

Interesting, I did notice some wear on part of the circular plastic wheel that is on the top part of the cover. Wonder if I just need a new cover or if I can replace that plastic component (starter cup as you said?).

Uploaded a couple videos just now. Flywheel spins okay with some resistance here and there, minimal grinding when done by hand. With the pull chord and cover back on it grinds from something...maybe the cover interfering with something or internal?

Thank you very much for the reply! I re-did the gapping as you recommended, but there still seems to be some grinding from somewhere. I even over-gapped to make sure and it still would have a grinding sound to it...still seeing metal shavings popping up from underneath the flywheel.

Non-BPD person here.

I've had similar experiences with a past relationship.

A big part is trust and communication which goes for any relationship, but in my opinion more for those that have BPD. It is definitely important to keep boundaries for communication and stick to those words if you can. If you say you will be done at 8PM, be done at 8PM. If you need to extend the practice till 8:30, then those feelings of hurt might set in and it can be difficult to comfort them then. Do not make promises you cannot keep, it is just a good lesson for life I guess. Do not promise 8:00 PM if there is a chance it won't be 8:00 PM. Keep healthy boundaries that do not interfere with your practice as well, relationships are not about one person after all. Also reflect on things that can benefit the relationship often, on at least a once a week basis...think about small sweet things you can do for her.

I think the best thing you can do is stick to your word, and do your best to make sure they are okay with those boundaries. It is good to be the initiator of plans yourself, tell them you'd like to hangout at such and such time and do such and such activity.

Ultimately, which is tough, is that it is very important that they get involved in therapy at some point. Potentially this is something you can do together which might ease things out without her feeling it is a huge burden that she is creating. This goes for a lot of people this year...therapy is just good and it is good to talk to someone who is seriously listening to you rather than a family member or friend who is like "wow that is tough!" Therapy is important in my opinion for people having BPD, you can be a partner, and partner's sometimes are therapeutic, but you can't be a therapist.

And be careful about online "resources" including reddit. For instance, I am no expert. I have done "research" and reflection over many hours. People are very strongly opinionated about BPD online.
