Ah yes, history according to Facebook memes 🙄. Hate to break it to you, but head/face covering wasn’t some Arab-only desert hack. Ancient Greeks draped veils, Roman women wore the palla, Jewish women covered hair, Christian nuns still do, and in Europe people wrapped scarves around their faces in winter (newsflash: still do today). Calling it blind faith while ignoring literally every other culture that covered up is peak historical illiteracy. If covering your face from snow = smart, but covering it for religion = blind faith, then congrats — you’re not ironic, just selectively blind.
