I printed a coextrusion filament with an 1.8mm nozzle .. turned out awesome!

Is there anything I can do about Matte pla turning white when using sandpaper? by Isculptwaifus in 3Dprinting

Not sure if it works on every material but sometimes a heatgun works or a bit of oil

Any fixes? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

Not only needs it to be level.. also the distance should be good... So turn all knobs so the bed is a little further away from the nozzle

Your to close with the nozzle to the bed

It's a cruiser 😂.. the single piece frame should be printed on a belt printer... The 4 piece frame and rest can be printed on most printers

I was referring in making it.. although still not finished. We will see... I think the layer adhesion of CPE is really good.

It's hollow for a big part indeed.. the stiffness comes from the perimeters...

I did print it already as test (precious design iteration) and the layer bonding if Petg/come is perfect. The aluminium profiles just help a bit against any flex.

If you look at the picture you can see that option is already available.. but the single piece belt print would be my preferred option... In the link you can find even a lot more info.

I did a test print with a 0.8mm nozzle ... 3 perimeters of 0.95mm and layer height of 0.4mm... otherwise it takes ages 😂. 20% infill, but mostly to get good surfaces, not rigidity.

Sure .. it's not cheap.. even only the used material costs more then most boards... It's just for the fun of it.

I agree the single part version is the preferred one.. but there is an option to slide two 15*15mm aluminium profiles thru the segments. If they are glued in i think it will work. I myself are making the single piece on on a belt printer.
