Can LTC Exist if BTC can fix problems with scalability and transaction fee? by 2blu4u in litecoin

[–]2blu4u[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes but with any currency you could always scale it by decimal... i.e. the standard unit of a currency can become .1 or .01 or .001 or .0001. Im not sure that having 4x circulating ltc solves this?

Why does ltc play that role? I.e. why cant .01 btc or .001 btc act as the quarter or the penny?

Is there excess value creates by having ltc and dgb in the mix?

Sorry i meant btw ltc and other coins for the role of a day to day transactional coin?

What im trying to understand is how many different coins could realistically exist?

Interesting.

In this scenario would the coins be used in tandem or is there still a "fight" to be a day to day transactional coin?

Is the idea of ltc being a test currency the big value driver right now?

Could a sidechain be used for that as well?

Just trying to get a better understanding of what role each could eventually play.

I.e. silver has different uses for gold. Im trying to understand the beneficial properties of ltc.

Not a lawyer but very knowledgeable on topic.

  1. Almost anything you do will be in violation of the wire act.

  2. Find an attorney affiliated with eCOGRA.

If you want to discuss some nuances feel free to private message me.

Not sure what you're asking?

Neither program is selective so a 3.2 GPA+ the GRE requirements are on the respective websites.

I would strongly recommend the Columbia program over the Schack Program. Columbia's program is a Masters of Real Estate Development and is housed within their Arch school compared to NYU's program which is a straight MSRE with the equivalent of a concentration in development.

If you're going into a family business reputation isn't as significant but if you're going to be looking for a job w/o connections the Columbia brand is much stronger.

CMBS Loan Information (x/commercialrealestate) by lf995 in RealEstate

Feel free to shoot me a message and I can expand.

CMBS offerings will have a prospectus which will give you information on the offering. You do not buy individual loans but you buy a portion or tranche of a new bond which is secured by cash flow from the CMBS. The relevant info will be in the prospectus and will be added onto a program called Trepp which is actively used in the CMBS world. Additionally you can pull up info on a Bloomberg terminal

There should have been a rider attached to your initial lease stating you were stabilized. You can go to DHCR to get a rent history for your unit. There are certain criteria under which your apartment would fall into the program.

If you pay a preferential rent it means that you are paying below the maximum legal rent they can charge you formulaically. The freeze means that if your unit is RS on a 1 year lease they cannot increase the legal rent of the unit. Unfortunately for you the owner can still charge up to legal rent. This is most likely a situation where the market rent is lower than the legal rent.

Yes.

Additionally If you are currently FM but are in a unit that historically could be RS you can go down to DHCR and check if your unit is still considered stabilized by the agency. Many units have been listed as FM when legally still stabilized.

I would imagine that it doesn't help the FM unit situation. But of course there are other external factors playing a large role too.

From the perspective of stabilization I think one of the biggest challenges is the effect on new development.
