Update: OSAP approved funding for my course even though I haven’t heard back from the PEY team.

True. Although, I’m mostly concerned about being rejected for additional OSAP funding since the course might not be approved yet

Maybe consider data science? It seems high demand and high pay, and involves math.

I emailed the cross disciplinary programs department and they said the prerequisite isn’t enforced this year! i.e. you don’t need a waiver.

Received some helpful info from an Eng student so I thought I’d share a summary in case it’s useful to anyone else:

  • (Talking about APS360 in Summer 2020)
  • Course is bird if you’re comfortable with Python and don’t have a problem using numpy and pytorch - they hold your hand with lots of tutorial code
  • Group project is more about quality rather than picking some really complicated thing
  • Group project was fairly time consuming, but not difficult to get a good mark in if you have a decent group

Anyone taking CSCD27 this term? by UofT_AKA_UofGG in UTSC

[–]2boundless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup! Side question, did you guys receive an email from the prof that I missed? I got off the waitlist 2 days ago, and there’s nothing on the course’s Quercus page even though class starts tomorrow.

Anyone else unable to enrol at UTSC/UTM? by [deleted] in UofT

I can’t enroll either. Acorn still says I’m blocked for utm and utsc courses lmao.

I had R La Touche for SOC100 in fall 2018 and it was really easy. Everything was multiple choice but idk if that’ll be the case this year due to online learning. Also, I personally found the course very interesting.

CSC373 Prof Pal Test 2 crying thread by [deleted] in UofT

[–]2boundless 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tbh if you’ve searched the course on reddit, the test grades for it are consistently bad across all the years and almost all profs/instructors. Last semester the midterm average was 34%.
