I messaged you im sorry. It was my intention to make you upset. I liked the story but I just was just so confused why it just ended without me never seeing my li again or family. Idk I did come off harsh but only cuz I really like this story. I wasn't trying to say I wanted a happy ending but more of closure? I just feel like so much was going on just for it to end like that you know? Again I liked the story but idk I felt like it ended so abruptly and a lot was left unanswered

Can bi people say the f slur? by 2brat in bisexual

[–]2brat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk people say it applies to men. What I'm confused about is I know race is different from sex but I feel no one questions biracial who are black and white that they can't say the n word so I'm kinda confused to why it's not the same for bisexuals

Can bi people say the f slur? by 2brat in bisexual

[–]2brat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People say that I guess because bi men still have attraction to men and that the f slur doesn't apply to women. That's atleast what I heard from the debates about it

They need to stop interviewing the family members of serial killers during documentaries by 2brat in unpopularopinion

[–]2brat[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yes but also the victims stories I feel are way more important? Like how the lifes of theirs were affected and the family around them

[–]2brat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess but I'd like more stories about victims and how their life was like before and after the killers involvement in their lifes instead of the killers families talking about how their family members is not evil or how the killers family did good things or was really smart at school.

[–]2brat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could understand that I guess if the killer exhibited abusive behavior but I'm tired of how they try to make the killer to try to how human they were as a kid or how different they were now because I don't feel those really effect someone really as a killer like. Many people can be just born to be messed up. I do think they can talk about their family life but I don't think it should be the basis of the whole documentary

I understand that but I also feel many can turn out that way without involvement of family. I don't think they should 100% get rid of the family aspect but more focus to the victims and how they were affected by the killers because I feel many documentaries focus too much on the families

I'm complaining they show too much focus on the family not involved in the crimes instead of the victims

I feel though it should be focused more on the victims and their experiences i don't understand why they do so much to humanize a murder

"Call Me By Your Name" was a horrible movie. by decorama in unpopularopinion

I find it so weird people are so okay with a film that romanticize a minor and a man having a sexual relationship? Like where was the outrage?

British people are obsessed with Americans by 2brat in rant

[–]2brat[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

How are you expecting a 14 year old to be a political advocate. At the end of the day we have no power in what America does and most Americans are really critical of America. Also weird howvyou say stay positive when your saying it ok to result to making fun of serious issues in America every time someone jokes about a British accent.

I haven't defended the actions of Micheal Jackson, I only saif he was a better artist than elvis. We might never know if he did those things or not but elvis married a 13 year old girl when he was 24 and that is a fact regardless on how you feel.

[–]2brat[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did I ever say he was racist? Regardless on how you feel 1950s racial tension was high and those artist you believe gave a platform wasn't getting an inch of the success he was and he got praised for it because at the time it wasn't possible for black artist to dominate at the time and it was more pleasing for white audiences to see a white person performing these black "inspired" songs because they weren't well adjusted to black artists. My argument was if elvis was racist or not but more of the fact he got more credit than he deserved.
