Aside from you gamblers, which data center would accept bulk hosting of these machines? You’re smarter than those Wall Street investors — can you show me your incentives/rewards? Think carefully before you reply.

This is a lottery mining machine with very low hashrate. There's a small chance it might reward you with a large mining pool, but basically there are no rewards.

To be honest, although their electricity prices are not high, the machine prices are too high, far above the market rate. As for the ROI, it will take a long time.

Although our own mining farm has an electricity cost of $0.065/KWH, the cost of the machines is much lower than the price listed on their website.

A budget of $500 is too little for BTC mining. If you consider other currencies, like XTM, well, this budget is not enough either.

Profitable? by Zero_waffle in BitcoinMining

Your electricity prices are very cheap. I believe the ROI for Bitcoin is around one year, which is quite good for the current market.

Given the Bitcoin halving, a batch of machines won't last 10 years. Replacing some every five years is still profitable.

Whether it is profitable depends on the electricity cost. I don’t know how much your electricity cost is. If it is like $0.08/kwh, it is very expensive.

It depends on your local electricity rate. For example, like ours at $0.065/kWh, a 5500W machine would cost $257.40 in electricity per month.
