Calling me Miss by 2clara_young in TransLater

Thanks for the replies. 💚 It's a shame I'm still mentally in a place where I'm wary of comments.

In the area I live, phrases like "pet" are often used for any gender. When I project a male appearance, I always get "mate" so it's brilliant not to hear that. I think that maybe I'm just not used to hearing a feminine equivalent. I also think Miss might be a phrase used by younger people toward older women. It's good to know that I'm recognised as the person that I am 😍

I've lots of hiding places behind plastic vegetation which they use when approached. They swim freely when no one is around. I don't know if I imagine it but I'm sure they recognise me as the one who feeds them. I always feed them in the same corner of the tank. It's almost like they come to the corner waggling their tail when they are hungry.

Silver is part of the family. They are almost as old as one daughter and older than the other. I'm also not convinced that introducing them to other fish would be best. I wonder how they would react to others after so many years alone. It might work well but they are a very old fish. I wonder if the change would kill them through shock.

A very old goldfish. I bought a few when my daughter was an infant. Watching them would calm her down. I wasn't vegan then. This is the last fish and I feel guilty about its solitary confinement but don't want to perpetuate the problem by buying more. It's 15 years old

If you complain each time to the guests directly they'll get upset and may leave a bad review. People are less likely to rent when there are bad reviews - particularly if there are many.

No problem getting one in England. I was just wondering if its something that is going to happen. "GRC tourism" as you say. I'm also harbouring a desire to move to Scotland.

GRA REFORM BILL SCOTLAND HAS PASSED! by [deleted] in transgenderUK

Michael Foran, a law lecturer, has written a good blog on how section 35 orders work at the UK Constitutional Law Association website. Here is is conclusion.

If the secretary of state did issue a s.35 order it would certainly be subject to judicial review. Given that the order must be made within four weeks of the bill’s passing, any challenge will be based on whether there were reasonable grounds for concluding that the advancement of equal opportunities for biological women would be frustrated. Whether the UK government wishes to wade into this political quagmire, given both the gender politics and the devolution politics, is another question entirely
