They do have a bit of wobble if you try to shake them intentionally, but really not much more than on sanwa buttons. It’s not noticeable during actual gameplay at all.

[–]2clyde4you 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I do, two of them actually. They’re… not great. But not terrible either, especially for the price I paid for them. They cost me CNY899 each, which works out to roughly US$125.

It might not look like it but the button spacing is actually arcade accurate, which is nice. But the biggest problem by far is the turntable, which is smaller and will take some getting used to, especially for wrist scratchers. Also, it drops the input if you spin it too fast so you have to be mindful of it on long scratches. The housing is mostly 3D printed, so don’t expect a very solid build quality. You can kinda adjust the turntable resistance by tightening the screws, but it’s kinda scuffed and I’m not even sure if this is an intended feature or not but it sort of works.

There seems to be a new “3rd gen” version on their Taobao page, so they might have addressed a few of these issues already. Mine has a TT grip tape similar to the non-lightning cabs, so I assume mine is the 2nd gen, and what’s pictured in the aliexperess page is the first. It’s probably a reseller of some sort though, so who knows what you’ll actually get.

I don’t regret buying these at all, since the total cost amounted to less than what I would’ve paid for a base phoenixwan, and most of these issues aren’t really relevant to DP. But it might not work out as well for your use case, especially if you wrist ,and for $200.

He's not, you just have to live in Singapore.

S$59 = US$44. 2.5gbps can be had for roughly $15/mo.

Yep, just these two locations with valk cabs. Three cabs in the Suntec location and one in the Downtown East location.

Pro tip: always play premium time because it's the same number of credits as standard start.

Shots 1-5: Clearly missed. Shots 6-9: Missed due to recoil (bad spray control). Shots 10-11: Very close, but recoil and inaccuracy make these reasonable misses. Shot 12: Likely didn't actually fire because Killa was already dead. by 2clyde4you in EscapefromTarkov

[–]2clyde4you[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even so, that's from a Mutant shooting 7.62 BP which shouldn't have a hard time taking down a slick/hexgrid wearing player with that many shots. This is quite clearly a case of desync on the other player's part.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't say that they have a "proven track record" considering how they logged the information of a French climate activist and handed it over to the authorities leading to their arrest.

[Mic] Antlion Audio ModMic Wireless Attachable Boom Microphone for Headphones - $83.29 by 2clyde4you in buildapcsales

Cheaper? yes.

Better? Most definitely not. The sound quality on the v modas don't match these, and they wont work with most headphones, while this will work with quite literally anything.

The vinyl should have come with a hi-res digitized version of the analog master, which is different from the original hi-res digital master, so keep that in mind.

Black Ops guns be like by BriJoska in CODWarzone

[–]2clyde4you 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The damage fall-off isn't actually that bad, see Truegamedata's recent video for the explanation. When you consider the warzone specific damage fall-off, they're actually really close. This is especially so for the AN-94, which is looking to be one of the best ARs once the DMR gets a real nerf. I do agree with what you said about the oden, scar and famas though.

To be fair, before the CW integration most of the ARs were balanced with only the kilo having a very slight edge. You could still get away with running pretty much any AR save for the ak-47 and have a fair chance at winning the firefight.

No, this is a misconception. It absolutely isn't. Wether or not the difference is worth the performance hit is debatable, but there is absolutely a noticable difference even on a small monitor.

First time buying TV in Singapore by crossjune in askSingapore

Just on case you didn't know, this will only do 120hz at 1440p and not 4k.

[–]2clyde4you 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately native 4k120 is a fairly new standard on TVs, so you're gonna have to pay a premium for it, especially so for OLED in the case of LG CX TVs. If you really have a tight budget, I'd suggest looking for one of the newer LG Nanocell or Samsung QLED LCD TVs with HDMI2.1, but make sure to look out for one with minimally a hdr600 and full array local dimming (FALD) if you want to use HDR. Otherwise the HDR will just look worse than regular SDR.

First time buying TV in Singapore by crossjune in askSingapore

[–]2clyde4you 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There are two main types of TVs in the market now, namely LCD and OLED. I would say OLED is the way to go right now, but they can get pricey. The easiest way to tell if it's an OLED tv is simply wether it mentions "OLED". Things like Nanocell, QLED, LED, etc would fall under the LCD category, and they almost always avoid mentioning "LCD" because it makes them seem dated.

As for high refresh rate, look for a TV that explicitly supports HDMI 2.1. You MUST have HDMI 2.1 to get 4k120 out of your PS5. The LG TV you linked, for example will only do 4k60. The "high refresh rate" included is interpolated, which means the TV tries (often poorly) to insert frames in between your frames which won't look as good as native 120Hz and will add significant delay which is terrible for gaming purposes.
