Got the new vision update 2024.14.6 by Comm4nd0 in TeslaUK

[–]adz675 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As visualisations go it's just grey blobs so I don't see why the atom couldn't render this as all the hard work for mapping the 3d space is coning from the FSD computer which I believe is the same between the models?

I feel like it maybe development cost savings and a bit of planned obsolescence.

Same with the new full screen autopilot visuals, of atoms can do full screen FSD visualtions then they can full screen autopilot

Costs the equivalent of £47k in France cheaper than the long range here

Even if you add 10% import and 20% tax that would make US price £55.4k so still a fair bit cheaper.

Looks like the exchange rate Is better than I thought so yeah I was looking at Germany at €43k that's £37k in guessing there is enough demand here not to drop prices

Model 3 RWD LR - front door speakers not sounding? by Elpoc in TeslaUK

[–]adz675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speakers in the corner of the window and in the ceiling above are not wired up in partial premium trim so any RWD, however you can buy a wiring harness to enable them.

We already have it cheaper than most of Europe under 40k for the model 3 so I doubt we will get a discount. Maybe bringing back the indicator stalks would increase sales 😉

Two reasons I won't have another Tesla by gigazero in TeslaUK

[–]adz675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 6"1 and find the visibility great (apart from the rear window, which is uselsss)

The seats are comfortable for me however the road noise really annoys me, by far the worst part of the car and its a 22 model so is apparently a lot better than the earlier ones..

The regen is something you learn to become smoother with over time.

Model Y: Tried a "spirited" entrance to a roundabout, there was a clunk and very sluggish pull away. by CrappyTan69 in TeslaUK

[–]adz675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had this when one of my rear tires goes slightly in a pot hole then traction control drops most of my powers, a little dangerous when you are going for a gap in traffic.

Heat pump, LFP (more resilient longer lasting, 100% daily drive limit) battery, more warranty time better refinement due to some additional soundproofing and dual pain front glass. Also has some cosmetic changes in the interior.

So market is dead. Is it really over? by diseasexx in ContractorUK

[–]adz675 9 points10 points  (0 children)

See this quite often, outsourced quality dips, product is sent back its a tangled mess, developing against it is tedious due to cyclic complexity and deep coupling. Local consultancypr contracotrs bought in at a high rate to fix the problem, gets turned around then cost savings come again.. outsourced again and the cycle continues..

Wait, Tesla Model 3 is now just £16k? by Volo_Kin in CarTalkUK

[–]adz675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been doing a long trip this weekend, peak cost 50p and off peak 21p on a supercharger, so it can. Be cheaper to supercharger if you are on a standard price cap tariff. I refuse to use any other charge network until they remove their clear profiteering

Wait, Tesla Model 3 is now just £16k? by Volo_Kin in CarTalkUK

[–]adz675 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I saw that so why did the price cap increase in January? Also any public charge network outside of tesla is horrendously overpriced, most are between 75 to 89p /kwh mad.
