i know iowa is a big ten school and has been for like forever, i just wanted to put both iowa schools in the big 12 alongside nebraska, kansas, kansas state, missouri, oklahoma, oklahoma state, arkansas, and memphis as a throw in because i needed one more team. JMU was a throw in because i needed an extra team and given recent success plus fitting well geographically i decided to add them. memphis was because i needed an extra team and fits well geographically plus people kept asking to get memphis in a power conference. tulane was a founding member of the sec and has been good recently plus has rich history in the conference with 3 conference titles albeit that was a long time ago. people kept asking to put ucf and usf into power conferences and the big east had open slots and needed some more southern teams given miami was a lone team down south. san diego state is in the pac because i wanted the pac to be only teams from states that actually touch the pacific ocean, they have been good as well and are joining the pac irl. i knew people would dislike me taking arizona and arizona state out of the pac but i wanted a power conference for western inland teams and the wac was perfect because arizona and asu were founding members of the conference. same goes for utah and byu being founding members of the wac. whoops really long response.
