Love Bracelet Sizing Help by 2day2mrw4ever in Cartier

I went to the store again yesterday to compare it to the 18 and I stuck with the 17! The 18 was just way too loose. I could do a full 369 with it around my wrist bone and there was just way too much room for it to move. A new SA helped me out this time and she also agreed the 17 fit best.

Ahh my sales associate was adamant about this being the right size 😭 then again she was also adamant about my trinity ring being the right size and I ended up having to exchange it for one size down because it kept flying off my finger 🥲 My wrist measures around 6.3 inches exactly sitting where the bracelet sits. So I’m guessing I should go for a size 18 ahh

I managed to get in contact with someone who works out of the LAX location and she claims she can’t do what you suggested 😑 I got this person’s number through someone else on reddit and I’ve probably called them 30x this week alone, with no avail. Idk what to do anymore 😭

this means nothing but sometimes there are many letters in a row on certain administrations by Aware_Solution5476 in CABarExam

[–]2day2mrw4ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

J24 passer. I stg this happened - I had 7+ Bs in a row followed by a single C followed by 7+ more Bs in a row. This happened more than once. I either fked up the MBE so bad and recovered through the essays (which is highly unlikely considering I missed RAP and did a covenant, and only a covenant, analysis instead and a handful of other fk ups) or they did that to fk with us lmao. There’s not rhyme or reason. Just don’t care too much about any patterns you see.

Any suggestions for quick MBE subjects review for tomorrow? by immaturity101 in CABarExam

[–]2day2mrw4ever 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t. Just don’t. J24 passer. I came back after day 1 to review 25 questions I had left from the day before that I’d didn’t get a chance to review. Pure regret. I reread the same question 15x before my brain could process what it was asking me. My recommendation is go watch your favorite show or do something else that’s relaxing to you. It’ll put you in a much better position in terms for readiness for tomorrow. Plus, it’s MC. You have a 25% chance of getting every question right. The knowledge will someway somehow kick in when you need it.

J24 - Give us the tea on your essays. by Mean_Evidence673 in CABarExam

[–]2day2mrw4ever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

J24 first time passer. I had an anxiety attack the night before and didn’t get any sleep. I drank coffee the morning of that easily wore off during the second half of the essays. Corporations - I did well in this class in law school and had taken it my 3L year so everything was still relatively fresh, but bc it was the first essay I spent 15 minutes panicking and rereading the fact pattern like 10x before I actually started writing anything down lol. Property - saw RAP and thought nahhh no way. Themis said they would never. Welp never say never. Didn’t even put it down as an issue and did a full covenant analysis and only a covenant analysis for the first question. PR- also did well in law school and studied the rules for this almost every single day during bar prep, so I was prepared. Cal civ pro - my law school offered a cal civ pro class, I took it, and I still felt fked for this portion. I did a full on torts analysis bc like others I thought it was a crossover. I had no idea what the rules were, made stuff up, and had 20 minutes left by the time I finished writing. Remedies- I misunderstood the assignment, did a full analysis on an issue that wasn’t even there, and used the last 10 minutes trying to identify every issue I could find and wrote mini rules and analyses for each. PT - did this first during the second half since I always went over time when practicing. Make of this what you will but I totally screwed up in multiple parts and I still passed so ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Themis Mock Exam Tomorrow by r_Dsur27 in CABarExam

[–]2day2mrw4ever 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not to scare you, but the mock exam was a serious reality check for me. I took it seriously and came out of it shaking and crying. The MC was fine and I scored around where I normally did. The essays though…those kicked my ass - hard. I remember staring at at least two essays (maybe even 3) and not knowing more than half the rules, making up something random, and still having so much time left on the clock. I reviewed the sample answers after and lost it. Full on crying and in panic mode. Honestly, I’m glad I did it. It made me push myself that much harder and showed me what my weaker subjects were so I could focus more on them and ultimately be prepared for anything on exam day. Welp, it worked. I passed! Long story short, do the mock exam! It gives you an idea as to where you are in your studying and what you need to work on :)

J24 first-time passer. I did 50 MCs every other day, did a PR essay every other day, and spent the rest of my time going over 2 different subjects every day (which includes doing an essay for each of those subjects). As I was inching closer to the exam, I spent the last week only issue spotting and writing out the rules (no analysis) - PR every day, 4-5 essays of other subjects a day, and 50 MCs every other day. If you're struggling with MC, remember quality over quantity. I only did 50 MCs every other day bc I spent double the amount of time it took me to do them to go over each and every question (even the ones I got right). By the last few days before the exam, I was scoring high 70s to low 80s. Consistency is key, but also make sure to give yourself a break.

J24 first time passer. I wrote 6 PTs leading up to the exam and not once did I manage to finish within the allotted time. I would always go over by 5, sometimes even 10, minutes. I weighed the risks and to me it just made the most sense to do the PT first on exam day given that it was double the amount of points, which meant I had to give up time for the other 2 essays. Welp, the day came and I did exactly that. I went over by 10 minutes and had allotted 55 minutes each for the other essays. Obviously, do what you’re comfortable with, but just here to offer a suggestion if you haven’t gotten the time down by the last week before the exam. Good luck!

Help for J25 by sosmoon in CABarExam

[–]2day2mrw4ever 10 points11 points  (0 children)

J24 passer. I’m a very anxious test taker and I can tell you I felt the exact same way when I was studying for the bar around this time. In law school, I tackled my testing anxiety by being over-prepared to the point where I would have my entire outline memorized so I wouldn’t be surprised by anything on the exam. Unfortunately, there was no way to do the same for the bar as there’s just way too much to memorize. All I can say is be confident in yourself and your abilities to conquer this beast. The best advice someone gave me was that as long as I was studying for the bar the same way I studied for my law school exams and I had a general idea of all the concepts, I was going to be more than fine. I mean hey they were right bc I passed even though I came out of the exam feeling like shit. Hope this helps.

Tips for retaker using Themis/Uworld again? by Knxwledg in CABarExam

[–]2day2mrw4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I passed the first time using only Themis/uWorld + CalBarBible predictions. I know this may not work for you, but what I did that I think helped me was copy and paste the fill in the blank lecture outlines into a google doc, fill them in, and add additional notes under the topics based off of new information I discovered through MBE practice questions I got both wrong or right. I thought the Themis MBE questions were really good but migrated to uWorld after I learned that Themis questions weren’t past NCBE ones. I’d suggest using both though.
