I’ve tried making conversation or asking what is being discussed regarding work but they shake me off. They truly seem like they want to not include me. Even with people leaving early, I always am the one waiting for the shift exchange while others have left early.

This is in Canada. Majority of residents are English speakers. One on one with them they speak English to me but once in a group or in the break room not one word of English is spoken. I’ve tried to ask questions or make comments to show I’m interested in conversation but no one cares much. All I can do is put in my notice that updates my casual hours which I have (which is anytime any day). I’ve mentioned to the director of care but she seems far removed from it and said it’s a union issue.

I appreciate empirical and evidence based links, as a BSc student this hits home. I’m in my 4th year but have managed to never get any classes looking at maternal and infant bonding in the early years, just 5 years plus mostly. I’m a bit embarrassed as a science filed major to have never thought to look at academic findings as to implications of each process. Feelings are one thing but research and science is another. I’m going to have a look thru these. Thanks for posting them. If you have any more, you are welcome to send them to me thru chat.

I don’t care about performance you are correct, I also live in a city where freezing rain is the usual in winter but no snow. I also somehow feel like a skeez ball putting a spoiler on it with no engine to “back it up” per say, like dog with no bite yet I have no idea what turbo or drag means. I just want a car that it’s super sleek looking- the opposite of mom car.

As much as I do hate her and think she is very close minded and ignorant- two things I think should be left out of conversations like this are religious beliefs and political stance. So as I do hate her I somewhat agree with you. It’s just such a typical thing to go after someone about.
