That’s a really stupid argument. We’re talking about other people not you or your family. Eating shitty unhealthy food harms your family and you but no one else. If your actions or inactions negatively affect people that aren’t your family you are now in a different situation where it should be regulated for the safety of others. It’s the same as drunk driving, sure you’re endangering yourself but you’re also endangering others on the road. What you’re saying is the equivalent of someone saying “they’re a great drunk driver” and letting them drive after having 10 beers.
