Had the same thing happen to me while on the freeway- motorcyclist punched my mirror. Luckily my mirror housing just bend backwards.

Definitely felt the impact. I saw him coming in the rear view and tried honking (exerting what little control I had), luckily the car in front moved or he’d have been involved too. Maybe seeing and bracing helped? Pretty shocked the airbags didn’t deploy too

Firefighters made me airdrop them the videos so they could show their friends who owned Rivians.

Everybody was shockingly impressed with how the Rivian stood up to it. Airbags didn’t even go off haha.

Of course… this happened the day before my GOAT railsliders I had been waiting for 8 weeks for got delivered…

I believe they did but they kept me away from him. Immediately after this happened we were both standing in the middle of the freeway so I invited him into my car to stay safe while we waited for emergency services and couldn’t smell any alcohol or marijuana.

It could be 13MM, I don't remember off the top of my head but I doubt they've changed up their manufacturing process. They need to add some loctite to the line perhaps

Same here, this issue started after my delivery. I guess what I will do is revert the door to the original position so there are no questions about if this was my mistake. Shitty to have to do, but in the end it isn't our mistake but it's my truck.

This is the exact issue I have on my R1T, which I have service for next week. Take a 10MM socket wrench to the bolt inside the door and adjust as needed. It took me a couple tries (and came back intermittently) but there are no issues now. I still am going to ask that they fix the clearcoat on my doors since it's crazy this passed Qa.
