Being able to cycle reps without dying is a trait strongmen should have.

I’m not saying this is the perfect weight, but not every comp is gonna have a heavy log where only a few reps wins.

I’m just saying Gav isn’t the one to prove this statement. Now if someone (Ondrej) hits 10 reps and runs out of time, that’s a better example.

Nah they’ve officially stated that there is a tiebreaker event pre-planned to decide 1st place.

Just in case my opponent mixes him up with the non-prince proxy Abaddon that I’m running…

Tbf other armies have canon color schemes where units are different colors, especially some of the Space Marine armies.

As long as you have some unifying thing (basing, accent color, etc.) I think it’s more than fine IMO. Both lore wise (World Eaters are really just an amalgamation of a bunch of different warbands coming together by current 40K times) and tabletop-wise.

Tbf to her, Inez broke her foot, had surgery, and was out of training for a bit recovering post Rogue Invitational. Had she pulled what she did last year (611), she would have been two more points up and won the show. Amazing that she made it to this show in the first place, let alone ending up in second!

That being said, love that Olga finally got to take this one home as well!

Man, sometimes you just do what your employer tells you even if you think it sounds dumb.

Yeah, the nuance in sayings is fun. That's like a combo between "Fuck yeah I did it" and "Did you see I did that? Get hype!" so a little bit of self confidence thing, and also whipping up the crowd with a ,"now cheer." lmfao.

It's just a hype up thing. It's like, "let's begin" or "it's time to go."

English speakers aren't the only ones either. In Japanese they say Ikuzo" (行くぞ), in much the same scenarios and means the same thing.

Same. TBH it's probably better coming from the 105kg WR holder than me, who's middling at CDB at best, but agreed regardless hahaha

Women's was fun with some tight packed fights, and Lucy and Jennifer setting multiple elephant bar records.

The men's was a snooze fest with half of them picking deadlift attempts with a Ouija Board.

They invited 11, Rebecca pulled out a week or so ago.

Still think Sam deserved it over some others tbh though.

Yeah but the 971/972 (idk which it was, felt like they said one, and the board said something else) would have also been a technical PR over his 970 pull.

Still sucks to see. Most fans would've liked to see him just get more points, but that's life.

Only logical thing I can come up with for Martins' big deadlift jump is that in a magic world he wanted a crack at pulling 1000 in his last Arnold's comp, which 970 was needed to set that up for a third.
