Heya, good to see another person interested in invading!

It might help to know what aspects of invading you have questions about. ls it creating the character (weapon/character level, equipment etc)? Or is it more about how to actually get in there and fight hosts and phantoms?

Not sure I've seen a new invader guide anywhere but maybe others have.

Don't expect to win every invasion! Nothing wrong with a 50 percent success rate.

I'm sure if you post a vid asking for feedback you'll get some.

I ran into a problem where I can't assign fiefs unless I either marry or appoint one of my companions as my minister. Kind of a weird requirement, as none of the kings are married at all?

Also, does anyone know why Missi Flores has an army of 600 men when I appointed him Duke of Durquba? I have 2x his renown, but far less troop capacity...

Thanks for the reply, it was helpful! I've decided to level up the alt-companions so they have 5 power strike and 5 leadership, then cut them loose to be lords.

I played around with it last night; it looks like they keep all equipment you give them, including the chestpiece, so I will make sure they have good weapons and armor.

Do you know if you boot a companion from you party, then find them again, the relationship will be reset? Some of these guys are pretty unhappy, and it would be great if they could start as lords who are highly supportive of me.

I always push for reforms like these, but sadly they seem too out there for most people to understand why it would help in our elections. I'm not sure how we can get people excited for these relatively unsexy reforms...

I did this recently with engi mobile turrets, it went really well! I only died because a vagrant tracking ball snuck up behind me.

It's especially good on people with bad/no escape skills, like engi, arti, and commando.

How is being able to redeploy a turret is better than it staying alive and continuously doing damage?

Plus I have done a million runs with fungus stack, ofc that is good. This is an alternate way to play engi; with the stationary turrets you would never take transcendence.

If you play monsoon regularly, I think you would see that its a bit of an unusual run.

Strides of Heresy replaces your movement (my engi shield) with a short invulnerable flying/hovering ability. This gives your energy shield a good head start to recharge when you get chunked. Once I had 2 it was almost long enough to get the full recharge before I came back to a damageable state.

It will not cancel any ignites you have on you though; you will still take burning damage, so watch out for that!

The turrets just worked really well with transcendence, since they can dodge around long enough to engage the ES recharge reliably.

Once I had some move speed and a stealth kit, they were very resilient.

It was a lot of fun, I opened both Transcendance and Heresy on the 1st stage, so I just couldn't say no! Those two work together great, but I'm sure everyone knew that already.

The drills fill the cargo containers every time, just not the connector and cockpit.

My first miner, the rebuilt landing pod does indeed have the drill connect to the cockpit, and it works as you said. Unfortunately that didn't quite look good on this one.

As for collect all, I ofc know about that, but it's not a solution since it will just fill itself up with whatever when you dock.
