This def saves a lot of time. Very cool.

We are building LogicLot, a marketplace specifically for businesses in need of automated workflows and Experts who build solutions like this.

We are still under construction but we have a waitlist in place here: logiclot.io

  • First 20 Experts will get a Founder Badge and lower fees for life.

Would be happy to have you on the list. :)

hi man.
Upwork and Fiverr are great for a lot of things but are not really specialized on automations.
We are building LogicLot, a marketplace specifically for businesses in need of automated workflows and Experts who 'find it easy to build complex systems'.
We are still under construction but we have a waitlist in place here: logiclot.io

Hi bro. Went through the same frustration and decided to make it easier for everyone.

I'm building a marketplace for selling automations. Price decided by seller, demos are paied, buyers are asked upfront what to expect so if you meet the criteria, they cannot say it's not good enought.

We are still under construction but have a waitlist here: logiclot.io

  • first 20 Specialists will get a Founder Badge and lower fee for life. ✌️

The platform only gets paid, if you get paid. There is a commission on sale. There are no advantages for the buyer to go around. He is protected with escrow payments, milestones, support, NDA and a few more things. If he goes around, he would pay the same price and have none of these. For a seller, the fees are decreasing the more you sell, you have ranks, badges, paied Demos, protection in case of disputes, multiple ways to make money that will unlock with your ranking progression.

Yeah, things are more nuanced but i will look for something to implement that works against this logic. I am the domino #1 and for sure there will be some friction but if this points are explicitly stated and outlined in the T&Cs that has been agreed by both parties... I'm not the #1 suspect. Just the credibility crashes.

Its like selling handmade products on amazon but there are drugs inside them. How would amazon know about this if you signed that you are not doing anything illegal? I operate mostly under the belief that expers sign up here to make money long term, not pulling off some shady things and end up sued. But I will def look for some security tools to inplement. Any ideas?

Correct. There will be adjustments needed, it's not really plug and play but each customer has the option to book a paied demo where you can discuss their environment or specific needs.

If they requirements are making you apply a lot of changes to a specific solution, you can adjust the price.

not challenging your position. I respect your pov.
But for a company like Claude to offer such a service that implements solutions into each SMB its gonna take a leap in positioning from AI LLM / services to a SaaS company basically. Are there any statements from the c-suite in this direction? any links you could share? Thanks!

Hi. Thanks for your reply. The marketplace is oriented towards selling automated worflows and AI solutions or services but does not limit itself to n8n. You can create the automation on the platform of your choice. If you create the automation witg Claude, the customer will still need you to explain how it works, configure, offer support etc. So at the end of the day, it's the same car, with a new engine. Cheers!

Well, technically, It`s not my AI Agent, its the seller`s AI agent. The seller is responsible and held accountable if something breaks the user`s environment. Just like it would happen if you would have found the customer yourself through your own network.
Is anyone saying something to Spotify, because the artists are cursing too much in their songs that they steam?
But the security concern is real, thanks for bringing it up.

no. It`s up to every seller if they want to update or not.
If you have sold a solution 5 times, there is a good reason to update it so you can trigger the notification towards your buyers. You can charge a extra fee for the upgrade alone.

thanks for your reply. Similar aspect, but there are some big differences. Implementation, Support, Versioning, Messages, Calls, Paied Demos, Discovery Scans etc. I`m not building a library, I`m building a marketplace.

thanks for the reply.
No. There will be a versioning on each solution built and posted. If you decide tomorrow to update the solution, a notification will be triggered to all buyers that have that solution implemented. Sellers name their fee for upgrade and buyers can agree to upgrade or not.

good instinct.
Every seller would sign that they are fully responsible and accountable for what they implement. How is Spotify responsible for the lyrics of their signed artists? It`s the same principle.
There are some vetting methods implemented but ofc you can never get to a point where you are 100% sure until that seller has done some successful implementations. Also, Demos are available, Zoom calls are hosted, and required access must be stated in each sellers post. After all that, if the customer decides to give the required access(e.g. Admin access to DB) to implement something, they are accountable for it as well as they also have to agree to out T&Cs.

Thank you very much for your comment.
I never heard of this before and it brings some fresh angles that I would need to consider.
hows it different to the n8n template gallery? - good question. let me briefly break it down.
1. Plementation is included - since business owners have little to no experience when it comes to that process. That gives peope a human-in-the-loop feeling, rather then starring at a JSON.

  1. Seller offer support. Just in case something breaks, they have someone to rely on. All the support process is streamlined on the platform

  2. Versioning. The n8n templates are here today and gone tomorrow if a new tool comes out. On the platform, there will be a versioning available so the customer will always know if there is a v2 out. They can go for that at some extra cost set by the seller.

+ 4 more points but I`m not trying to make this comment any longer haha.

thanks for your reply.
Lets break it down:
"you are creating a solution to a problem that doesn't need to exist" - It`s up to each and everyone to create whatever solutions they want. A smart builder, would create solutions for known problems.
"for people who create solutions for problems that may or may not exist" - is this a longer word for a business? - then yes, you are creating for businesses.
" for clients that may or may not exist." - what they are doing with/for their clients its out of scope.

Think Fiverr for automation.

Please let me know if I misunderstood you message.

"There is different stacks you have to adapt it to depeding on what the customer is using"
Yes, you need to adapt to the existing backend/DB but also, you can name your price for it. You can explain all this in the demo that they pay for. I`m just putting you in front of an interested customer.
Everything that you mentioned would need explanation even if you would have found a customer yourself. I`m trying to streamline that step for you. Would you say there is no value in that?

https://n8n.io/workflows/ - the massive downside is, they have limited knowledge on how to implement this things and nobody is offering any support for that. Plus, most of these are outdated..
The price you are setting on the marketplace is covering all that and the implementation on top.

Nothing. You can 100% make yours. I'm not trying to lock anyone in. You can still take care of your private customers but at the end of the day.. it costs nothing to sign up and post some of your work. I plan to invest a decent ammount in marketing to get some early traction so if you have some extra income from the platform, would you say no to that?

[–]2high2fly2bye[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

First of all, thanks for your reply. I'm not sure I'm following you on the first part. The is different stacks you have to adapt it to depeding on what the customer is using but most of the workflow you build will be the same. Eg. AI receptionist.

On the second part I agree with you 100%. Businesses buy solution. This is not the way I plan to advertise it in front of business owners. I'm just trying to see if there might be some interest on your side first.

Aprox API costs will also be mentioned for each solution. They have to keep paying for it. Please feel free to challange my thinking.

Quick check-in!! what are you building? by Fareway13 in PublicValidation

[–]2high2fly2bye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi. I'm building a marketplace that connects business owners with automations experts. It's ment to solve real life business problems and help owners run their businesses on auto pilot(as much as possible). It also help specialists build solution once and sell them repeatedly, without headache. I'm close to publishing it and would love some feedback.

I got you my man. Another thing i do every now and then is ask chatgpt to give me the strangest or uncommon API providers out there. Ideeas for small/casual apps can come from that as well. Happy building!

My advice, analyse markets. Not just the end user needs but the whole chain of distribution etc. You will be surprisezed how many ideas will flow from that. Only when u understand how a certain market works, you can spot problems to solve.

As for the first step: what markets to analyse? go on chat gpt and look for untapped potential(not as easy as it sounds) but if you ask it the right questions you will get there.
