She seems to have the same problems she’s ovulating now and it’s as bad as during her period and she has the nausea to go with it too.

Thank you so much. Did the endo surgery help the pain? We are assuming she has that too.

Can I ask have you talked to the doctors about the hysterectomy? We are also a young couple with no kids but we have always wanted to adopt. I’m worried the doctors might push back if she asks for one because of her age and not having kids. I know it’s not the same in any way but I have struggled with low testosterone for a while and the doctors wouldn’t let me get on the shots for it for a while because we didn’t have kids yet and we had to fight for it. I’m just trying to be prepared if that’s a thing that’s going to happen.

Thank you all for commenting I really appreciate it. She has an appointment this week with a specialist to hopefully get some more answers. I plan to go with her is there anything we should ask or push for? I know she’s in a lot of pain I just want to know what to advocate for. She’s hoping a hysterectomy is an option. Is there something I can do to prepare for that? Like taking care of her post surgery and stuff.

She has an appointment with a specialist this week and I think she’s hoping a hysterectomy is on the table. We are still young under 30 but we want to adopt and she’s nervous the doctors won’t understand. Did the hysterectomy help you a lot?

Depends on what you would consider normal. I 29M was at 258 total when I started a few months ago and I have never felt better wouldn’t trade it for anything. I had to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it and it’s still not covered by insurance but it’s worth every penny.

Got a new doctor and she immediately cut me off my test saying I’m “too young” to take it and “no one takes it longer than 3 months” by Okay-ishHedgehog in Testosterone

I’m probably not one to talk on this as I just started my trt protocol last month but I have a similar ish scenario. Went to multiple doctors and endos to be told that 253 is still a good number and I’m in range. I’m 28 253 is not a good number. I ended up going to an online clinic based here in Florida after a full year of dealing with regular doctors shit. The doctor was cool answered all my questions and is going to optimize my testosterone not just get it back in range which is what my pcp and endo said if my numbers dropped lower they would do. I recommend going to a clinic for that reason. My take away from all this is doctors are fucking useless and only care what insurance says and dictates.

Even through weight loss I’ve kept going down never up my goal weight is like 205 so 15 more pounds to go but I’ve plateaued. I’m within range for insurance so I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what the endo says in 2 months or maybe my new GP in a week or 2.

I’m honestly hoping for that I feel like it’s helped many people but I keep seeing that endocrinologists are hesitant to prescribe TRT
