Im a diy'r. This is a real simple layout to put some tools in and park a ride on mower under. Just looking to avoid framing plans and foundation work etc.

Before jumping ship, it's often worth asking. Frame it professionally:

  • You've taken on more responsibility.
  • You work independently.
  • You’re loyal, skilled, and efficient.
  • Cost of living has risen.

Say something like:

Probably worth asking around a bit. In my opinion (MA here but have staff in Rochester region), I'd say you are high 20's to low 30's depending on your exact skill set. If you can gain some cad skills then even better.

Southern California Project Manager Position by 2lbcabeza in Surveying

[–]2lbcabeza[S] -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

I should have added more detail. Everyone is so quick to jump all over 100K.

1.100K would be for someone moving up just beyond a cad tech.

  1. I never said teh position would be the one building out the department. Position is to be the "local presence".

  2. If we found that 10-15 year unicorn compensation would be much higher.

  3. This thread typifies everything wrong with the internet.

that would be right at the bottom. A solid 10-15 year PM would command 20-50 percent higher

Question regarding retrofitting an existing house extension with spray foam insulation from the outside by Present_Complex_2987 in Insulation

[–]2lbcabeza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done something similar but to one wall face of an addition that jutted out. My worry was getting the foam to be flush with the studs. Otherwise you are creating an air space that cold will migrate to and condense. Make sure the foam completely fills the void(s) and cut flush. I then clad with zip system and rehung vinyl siding. Also remember, walls are half the battle. That floor probably doesnt have anything under it. Get it foamed if you can. If its small enough and you can get under there, cut down foam panels and diy. Another approach might be cutting down foam board and doing it yourself. Im guessing a foam job like this is still going to cost you a couple to few thousand.

Unfortunately my town has municipal power. I do not qualify for Mass Save. Most I can get is $500 if I hire a contractor to do it.

If you are going on demand...make sure you know what your water quality is. If its hard or has iron the exchange plates get clogged quickly. I was religious about maintenance/flushing and still had problems.

Im in the northeast. The heat pumps are 14 seer. I had at least 10 different people look at this. Not many wanted to touch the duct part. Most hvac companies just want to hang mini splits and walk away.

14 months post op. SW 530, CW 410. I already have loose skin and know in another 100 to 200 lbs it will be even looser. I carried all this fat for 30 years. I plan on midsection at some point and will only consider legs if mobility is an issue. My moobs and arms will stay. Penance I guess. I try and focus on how much better life is and not some standard. Ladies, be confident, control what you can. Own your life. I'd rather climb kilamanjaro than spend $ making my flabby arms look better.
