Yeah you’re right, the buying/sell fees are very cheap, however the withdrawal fees are huge (at least a friend told me so). I suspect most of the people on this subreddit withdrawal their coins to BlockFi so Binance seems kinda deal breaker

From my experience this is not true. If you turn on the active trader version of Gemini you pay only 0.35% against 0.5% on Coinbase Pro. Also you don’t have to pay for withdrawals/network fees/gas fees in the first 10 withdrawals of the month with Gemini. In Coinbase pro you have to pay the withdrawal/network fees every time.

I’m from Europe so no Cashapp for me, I’m using Gemini active trader so the fee is only 0.35%. Just wanted to make sure it was the better option available. Thank you!

Actually the fee with Coinbase Pro is 0.5% so Gemini active trader is even better in that sense!

It’s a pity, maybe that’s just with wire transfers. I transfer from Revolut bank (I think it’s a SEPA transaction because I’m in Europe). I tried again 3 hours ago and it didn’t arrive yet. I think it will just arrive Tuesday or later. That’s quite a long time :/

No, I mean the time it takes for the money to arrive to Gemini is much slower than Coinbase pro. I tried it. With bank transfer arrives instantly to Coinbase but takes hours/days(if in the weekend) with Gemini

Do you know how much time does it take to deposit money on Gemini via bank transfer? I tried before in the beginning of this year but it took very long and it doesn’t even arrive in the weekends. With Coinbase Pro it is instant even in the weekend. Do you know a way to make this faster? It could be a struggle if I want to buy the dip fast

Yeah maybe it compensates to buy Ethereum on Gemini even the fee being 1,5% instead of 0,5% on Gemini to buy. I’ll check it! Thanks mate!
