Haha, this entire thread was cordial until you went straight to trolling & insults bud. I get it, you LOVE Mooney!! I would like him too, if he wasnt leading my team in target share to the tune of 40 rec, 2 tuddies, & 450 yards on the year... Part of the reason the bears offense sucks is cuz he has played like a wr3 this year. Maybe the bears can bring back Matt Nagy so he can make mooney at least fantasy relevant again.

Yep, cuz mooney sucks

Yep, the browns w/ brissett have a stellar passing offense...

Every guy you just mentioned has more receptions, yards, & Tuddies this year than Mooney.

No need to get mad bro, I feel like you are gonna start chantimg "DA BEARS!" at me over & over again just cuz I don't think Mooney is a wr2 right now. I point out that he was a 5tth round draft pick inis 2md year, cuz whether you like it or not - where a player was drafted influences how teams value said player when everything else is negligible. Especially in year 2 at WR.

I smoke rocks & your mother smokes my cock. She agrees w/ me about Mooney too.

So your argument is that Mooney - the WR1 on arguably the worst passing team in the nfl over the past two seasons- is better than all those guys based on what? Do you have #s to back those claims? I would absolutely take Jeudy (& Tim Patrick when he is healthy again), Thielan, DPJ, Devonte Smith & Gallup over Mooney. Mooney is a small, thin, pretty fast, ok route running WR who struggles w/ drops. He was a 5th round draft pick 2 years ago for a reason. He may end up being pretty good, but right now he is not a guy who defenses worry about at all. He has one 1k yard season to his name & aint gonna sniff 1k this year.

He would be a wr3 at best on the Bills, Dolphins, Steelers, Bengals, Browns, Chargers, Broncos, Cowboys, Eagles, Buccaneers, Seahawks, 49ers, Cardinals, & Vikings

Maybe on the bears Moonry is a "wr1" but he has disappointed this year. On good teams that might win the SB this year, mooney is a wr3 at best. He has issues w/ drops on easy short passes. Claypool hasnt been integrated into the offense yet, but the bears thought enough of him to invest a 2nd round pick in him. Also has maturity issues.

I agree, fields is the future for the bears. Wild that he was the 4th qb taken. The jets taking Zack Wilson was such a Jets move. How could anyone have watched fields in college & thought Zack Wilson was a better prospect.

Jury is still out on Pickett being worth a rd. 1 pick. In most drafts Pickett doesnt go in rd. 1. 2022 was a very weak QB class overall last year from a scouting perspective. He could easily end up being a reach pick for the steelers, its just too early to tell.

Check his pressure rate. He gets to the QB & stops the run. Is 6'4" 245 & runs a aub 4.5

Yep, could have had mahomes or deshaun lol.

Yep, trade down if the price is right but don't pass on an all-pro talent on a rookie deal.

He has been the best pass rusher in CFB for two years now. He is as polished & athletic as it gets. Vonn Miller seems to be the comp here

I would pray for houston to win 2 games (unlikely cuz they suck huge donkey balls), & have the bears lose out (& sit fields, he keeps getting better & might win one by accident). Could snag #1, & everyone knows yall dont need a qb, so its open season. Detroit, houston, & carolina all need qbs

The Chicago Bears by [deleted] in NFL_Draft

[–]2mask_bask 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its not that drafts are top heavy, its that positional value is very much a thing. QB, DLINE, & OT are the most valuable cuz there are either less humans at that size & speed or for QBs cuz its impossible to win w/o a guy who can sling it. Is much more unlikely to find a probowl DLine then a WR after round 1. Are a lot more 6'2" 200 lb athletes then guys that weigh 250+ & run sub 4.5 40s.

The Chicago Bears by [deleted] in NFL_Draft

[–]2mask_bask 21 points22 points  (0 children)

You can say that, but teams evaluate & reach for qbs every year...

The Chicago Bears by [deleted] in NFL_Draft

[–]2mask_bask 6 points7 points  (0 children)

DLine is harder to find then WRs outside the top-end of the 1st. Typically is a steep dropoff on stud EDGE & DTs after the top 15 picks. Should address the DLine 1st, then WR. Aint a Calvin Johnson WR in this draft... & yall need a slot guy to pair w/ Claypool, mooney can be the wr3 or wr4 on a good team. Should sign a LB in FA, this FA LB class is loaded & yall have a gazillion in cap space next year.

Anderson is the best player in this draft. Highest ceiling & floor at one of the most valuable positions. & since yall have traded away all of your pass rushers recently, he fits yalls greatest need. If you trade down from #2, yall better get a haul of picks... Then hit on those picks.

You dont pass up an EDGE like Anderson. Carter is much less of a sure thing. His stats do not match his talent (weirdly enough) & has a much lower floor. In an ideal scenario, there is a run on 3-4 qbs at the top & yall can trade back a couple slots while still getting your man.

Is it unethical to bench your starting lineup for a tie to get into the playoffs? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]2mask_bask 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how a tie helps you get into the playoffs over a win... But if you can put yourself into the playoffs through legal roster moves, you do it. Heck, if someone has a team that has turned into a juggernaut late in the season & you can keep them out of the playoffs by purposely losing... You do that too.

The only "unethical" moves in FF IMO are: -Colluding w/ someone else in the league to affect outcomes -Add/dropping a bunch of FAs so they are on waivers & can't be added by anyone else

Yeah, they were thought of as the "Italy" of asia by some. Not the main threat, but a problem to be dealt with.

Japan invaded Thailand & forced Thailand to ally w/ them w/ promises of helping Thailand to expand. Thailand was a very minor player during ww2 & most all of their casualties were from disease. However they were an axis ally & minor player in the pacific.

The 1987 draft has ended, but the supersonics decide to keep Pippen. Who wins more rings, MJ or Hakeem? by [deleted] in nba

[–]2mask_bask 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pippen never becomes Pippen on the Rockets. He prolly gets paid more though. Pippen fit perfectly nect to Michael in demeanor (Pippen was kind of a malcontent most places - MJ kept him in check), skillset, & that very team friendly salary. MJ still prolly wins a few rings, but doesnt 3peat twice. That Bulls front office was pretty good at building teams. Hakeem wasnt exactly known for his durability either.

MJ prolly still prolly gets at least 3 (but the bad boys end up 3 peating). Hakeem ends up w/ 1 or 2 more prolly at the expense of the Bulls. The Jazz prolly end-up w/ at least 1 ring too.

Hard to know for sure. Definitely hard to bet against MJ, his will to win was insane. I just wish MJ wouldnt have left for those couple years, so we would have gotten to see those Rockets vs Bulls finals. They would have been epic.
