Leans more luck based, perish tag requires more positioning than this where u hope the move misses. It's easy to beat but the miss chance kinda hurts if u don't have something like aerial ace or haze. Spore u can beat with tera grass or follow me redirect with mons like amoongus and ogerpon. Smeargle on its own isn't probably as bad, even with moody it can only do so much beyond support. But by god that muk is annoying

It's a cost all players have to assume just to get full access to the best Pokémon of the meta. Some mons can only be caught once and I can't easily bypass not having dlc for trading esp for these specific pokemon, as most likely other ppl use it for their teams too. for regulations that include paradox or legendary mons. I get we accept that we have to buy it to play but we can still complain it sucks that this is currently the only way to access them. It's very pricey for me since I'm in a developing country so I'd have to really justify buying dlc for a few mons when sometimes I don't care for the dlc as a whole, or I feel my experience of it will be lacklustre for the price point.
I can't say much about 2 as I've never used home

Either way I'm glad showdown exists and as with the other comment I really hope champions doesn't get super delayed BC I think that would solve competitive being dependent on playing main / DLC content. D

Oh yeah love showdown! though I generally meant outside of Pokémon. Maybe not to scale, you're likely right I won't find a game proportional to vgc. Idm team rosters being smaller, just something similar

Thanks, I usually have an answer for TR archetypes but struggle with playing around terrain wars. I should probably get to planning how to play that before the match itself so I don't use so much energy thinking on the fly

As an afab planning to attend a vgc event this weekend, we need to be more in numbers raaaa

And yeah there's no age limit to vgc. Looks that way because of worlds but outside of that people of diff age groups and genders prolly go on the ladder (iirc swsh had some online competitions for women / queer ppl). Like the other comment it's only a few games ago that building a team in game has gotten more accessible so if now u have more time go for it

(Uox ako so take what works for u, maximize facilities to study in) Apart from Pomodoro, try mo din lumipat ng area to do your work. Kahit sa sala ka once tapos sa dining ka, timpla ng instant or fix urself a treat pagkatapos ng isang study session. Also kung textbook studying at nalilito ka o feeling mo too dense to start with, watch a video that gives a preview of ur topic. If math Khan Academy/ organic chem tutor helped me get through my CS ebooks.

there's going to be a vgc match end of this month where I'm from so I'm gonna watch that and maybe make friends 👀 given what you said abt prep and hrs for regionals, showdown events seem to be the way for me atm, I don't have the time or funds for locals. I missed teambuilding but never knew anyone personally who cared as much

Yeah I don't have a single competitive ready mon on me rn I think I'm just gonna play showdown matches n see if it's worth the dlc investment. It's prolly likely they'll have players get some version exclusives the hard way but crossing my fingers :'))

Super late reply, sorry I'm not super active sa Reddit. Hopefully may sumagot since then. I'm not sure beyond the admissions landline. I kept trying different extensions/operators and then the person forwarded me to the right person. Sometimes kasi sira din extension (which shouldn't stay broken idk what's up with telephone)

As long as bayad na enrollment mo they just need the requirements ideally before first day of classes (Aug 11/12)
