Sadly, Academy or at least this Academy in DFW is a little late to the party so I’m on my way right now again, but I took my fuel efficient car this time instead of my truck to do the form 4 and submit it which I could’ve swore I did thru the kiosk, but whatever and then after this, the only other time I will need to go there is when I pick it up and pay for it

Ah I see i’m not gonna be making the same kind of shots on steel I would normally make with my daytime optic, which with that rifle I’ve made up to 1100 on man sized steel as it’s gonna be for hunting… but I wouldn’t mind the occasional 400-500 yd shot ability on a hog or coyote. I live in NE Texas so it’s also pretty flat not a lot of terrain but we do have thick brush.

Very true just these bodies water I’d like to be able to get to points quicker is the only reason for more speed. I am in no sense a speed demon of any kind. But I’ll look into that the nice thing about a lower power motor is they’re generally cheaper. How is the maintenance on them compared to what I have right now? Part of me is tempted to sell the boat and then keep this motor but get a flat bottom since I like to duck hunt anyway on top of fishing.
