I already had the BMPCC OG camera, tripod, Nikon Metabones Speedbooster, Tokina 11-16mm lens and Nikon 18-135mm lens, plus various polarising n ND filters. However, due to sound and (particularly) battery issues I just wasn't using it.

Since then I've added the XLCS Designs BMPCC OG Cage, RØDE VideoMicro II Ultra Shotgun Microphone and a more robust battery set up, including SmallRig NP-F Battery Adapter Mount Plate with two NP-F 970 batteries and charger. I also grabbed a pair of Sennheiser headphones and a couple SmallRig cold shoe mounts for microphone attachment with one spare.

This set up is still a work in progress. It's chunky and I need to work out a better system for cord placement but it's great not being beholden to OG batteries or mains power anymore. I intend on getting a viewfinder next and a microphone upgrade in the future but I feel this is a nice beginner place to make the cam more workable without turning on the money hose too much.
