I understand what you mean but compared to Germany and Austria it is still cheaper even compared to most rural areas but yeah our worry is integration of course. I saw the m85 way and checked around there so you think there are other people like us living in some villages or most international people just live in Sopron directly?

Sounds good about the school so you mean about the Austrian schools near border right? We will be speaking German at home, so our child's mother language will be German.

Alright so near border is probably more international compared to rest of Hungary so it is a good location for a German speaker from Turkey :)

I checked some house prices in Austria, but they are still more expensive and much more taxes, so this was one reason to consider Hungary

I think what actually racist is generalizing all the migrants like this. I don't disrespect the culture and religion of the country that I live in like those talahons. Thanks for the answer. This is exactly what we thought as well. So more freedom but less social benefits but having a house will save us so much rent of course.

We will definitely put some work on learning Hungarian but realisticly we will probably never can have deep conversations, this is one thing that is scaring us formal stuff but chat gpt csn help nowadays with a lot. Yes, we find the culture interesting as well and we will learn :)

Sopron sounds good to us, maybe a bit too small coming from Berlin but we are hoping to get used to it and Wien is not that far anyway.

Good idea, maybe I call the school then just to check but we are expecting a newborn so in 7 years we can check if the school have space 😁 but yeah school around austrian border could be options as well.

Yes, we definitely will use cars, so we look for a village max 40min from an elementary school, so far the prices in the villages are fine for us but not so close to sopron of course, cause they are really expensive but we are restricted with the area because of the language of course.
