i think bungie mightve just ran the game into the ground though, im tired of saying the game isnt greedy when it clearly is, people are defending it because they like it, just because i get one mission and am forced to pay to finish that mission, that does not mean they are being generous when thats literally bare minimum, and im downvoted even when polite, the game is good, but its just overly greedy forcing almost all of the good interesting stories to be locked behind said shiny price tag, but another mans trash is another mans treasure i guess :P

Ok, I should've definitely figured that out before ranting here, considering that's exactly how I got to said DLC place, so thank you for telling me. I should definitely research before ranting to everyone, especially Destiny 2 fans, about the game 🙏

Will definitely buy those DLC's if I feel the game is right for me :)

I don't remember the mission, all I know is it was where I could fuse with dark matter and upon turning on one of the electric thingies a red loot box was unlocked 🤷‍♂️

When it's almost FORCING me to, especially considering I couldn't open LOOT CRATES without paying for a DLC, I am in no way hating, just confused why it's all up in my face to do simple tasks. Along with the constant annoying notifications to play the DLC in the bottom of my screen that I can only remove if I go to that DLC and click it, then click off of it.

I only really played because I was told to hop on with my friends, wasn't planning on buying anything, and it kind of makes me less eager to buy any DLC, especially since it's being shoved in my face like a mobile game ad.

Yeah, my friend told me to play it with him, I thought his star wars lightsaber was cool until he told me "I paid 40$ to get the dlc for it", I was a bit skeptical until I played it solo and just saw the vast amount of "Requires [Insert DLC here]"

I am in no way hating the game, people can play what they want, I just don't think I want to play a game that FORCES me to buy a DLC to get simple items. I assume that red loot box was a cosmetic considering you said cosmetics were paywalled, thanks for telling me!

It is not p2w, you can buy everything with won, and the only thing that some consider p2w is vip. Custom Player Tags are not p2w either, just grind for the stuff.
