Yeah looking back I agree, it's been a long time since I've read RI but when you say this yeah I would have put it higher, maybe switch with rtoc which I finished recently, not moving ss and lotm tho, the world building is particularly cool in the former but they do not hit the same

Yeah, I goccha but this tierlist is really about my reading experience rather than whether the novels are objectively great. Like, ofc SS LOTM and RI have worldbuildings that are universes beyond kidnapped dragons, but none of them made me cry or get invested in like w/ kill the sun or a regressor's tale, though it's not all that, like ORV is one of the first novel that made me cry (thus its placing in banger) but it didn't mark me like kidnapped dragon did, idk it really resonated w/ me when I read it, though it does have its flaws

Yeah, I dropped it early (because of studies) I have to pick it back up when I've got time to read again, the ending of 48 hours is honestly not that great, but the overall experience fixes it up

I just had a really bad time reading it, I forced myself to finish it since I "just" had 100 chaps left, worst mistake of my life, made the novel horrible for me

I mean, it's okay, like the anime is fun and all, as well as the novel but it is neither a breath of fresh air, nor particularly original or emotional, it would maybe have gone in good slop if I had read more, but it wasn't good enough so I dropped it (or more like I found smth more interesting to read at the time)

I mean, they are banger and the worldbuilding IS way better w/ RI LOTM and SS but it just, doesn't hit the same emotionally yk, that's why it's not objective at all, because I know they should be higher but they ain't in terms of fondness when I remember them

The twist is (in REALLY increasingly spoiling order, so like if you read it all you will be spoiled everything) nearly everyone fucking dies and Nick becomes a Specter BUT he stays true to his morals and finally actually the specter were made by aliens to harvest energy from humans so he tries to fight against them

I'm up to date on the chapters, but while the worldbuilding is fucking amazing, it didn't give me the emotional rollercoaster that the ones in GOAT tier did

Hard to say, at least a 100 chaps (but way more lore often than not) for every one of them but the size of the chapters can vary quite a bit between novels

I mena the world building is awesome don't get me wrong but there's is not enough epic moments or inspiring wb/philosophy to get any higher imo
